Our New Year's Eve Recap
We have not stayed up till midnight for years. We had a little party at the Hunters home and it was great. The food was wonderful, the Karaoke never disappoints. And the kids loved throwing everything everywhere. Nicole is such a great mom because she just let them do it right in the living room , it made it for the kids.
What a great New Years Eve!
ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed that your kids made it to midnight.
pretty sure we were driving home on I-15 while we were trying to stay awake coming home from the winfields. It was fun!
ReplyDeleteI need to let loose like that more. What will it take for me to just relax?
ReplyDeleteSo glad you had a great holiday with great friends!
The streamers look like such fun. My boys managed to stay up until midnight. Ringing in the new year with friends sounds like a good idea!
ReplyDeleteMy kids don't even know that people stay up past midnight to celebrate the new year.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! It looks like your girls had a blast!! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteHow cool to let your girls stay up and that they made it! The streamers look so fun!
ReplyDeleteHow fun. Our kids fell asleep on the way home from the river walk they were pooped out. Maybe next year?
ReplyDeleteI was in la-la land by the time midnight rolled around. It had been a really long day and I just couldn't do it. I'm so glad you guys were able to celebrate with the girls - sounds like great fun. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteCute photos. You caught the time on the tv, too!
ReplyDeleteWe actually did have Liam stay up till midnight. We invited some other young families from our ward to come over and including us and the children had 18 people in our 1000 square foot apartment! It actually worked out pretty well though, the kids played nicely and watched videos in Liams room and we set up port a cribs in our bedroom for the babies. All the grownups played games in the living area and kitchen and we had potluck hor derves (spelling?). It was nice. Everyone left about 12:45. Liam was begging for bed by then though!
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish your 100 list were up....
ReplyDeleteI love that you had Karaoke! I am also impressed that your kids didn't drowse off before 12! What fun!
ReplyDeleteYour evening sounded fun! This is the first year in a while that we didn't stay up. But with a new baby and needing to sleep when he does we hit the sack when he did.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed your new years post. There are so many things I need to work on also. Hopefuly we can be successful this year.
