it wasn't until late last night when I was making my little frogs that I came up with the idea to throw in some Extra gum into the ribbon and cellophane. So in case you are still packaging your frogs go grab some gum!

  3. How fun! On our way home from Kmart this evening, my husband actually came up with the EXTRA gum idea. We are planning on putting the frogs and a card by our kids' pillows tonight so that first thing in the morning they see:

"LEAP out of bed. This day only comes once every FOUR years. What are you going go do to make this day EXTRA special!"

    Thanks for the fabulous ideas!!

  14. I completely wanted to do something for Leap Day. My excuses: I taught Joy School today. I have to have a birthday party ready for tomorrow, and a Sharning time ready for Sunday. True, with a few more time management skills, I could probably have done this too, but that's my excuse anyway.

  16. Kristi you are so cute. I love your blog and all the great ideas. I just ordered that book about the journey of edward tulane. I can't wait to get it. My husband told me you commented on mine, but I would hate to disapoint with the best hair cut ever, that is a lot to live up to, and those pictures were not great. I always hope that it looks better than those. That was the first time I had attempted to do it, so I think I got better with some practice. Now I need it cut again, a short hair grows so fast. I love your hair cut my the way.

  17. Thanks for the cute idea, we don't have a k-mart up here...or a target...or a super wal-mart....so I improvised and went to micheals and purchased a tube of animal frogs. I gave them to all the teachers and adminstrators at school as well as my visiting teaching ladies. Thanks again for another FABULOUS idea!

  18. We had my daughter's birthday party today (not her actual birthday) and I did a leap year treat bag, but with bunnies. Now I wish I'd done frogs. Very cute.
