On our last Sunday downtown as we walked away from our many new found friends one of the last conversations we had, we learned that one family was getting ready to go to the temple for the first time as a family with their ever so cute 2 year old girl. I asked the mom if she had a white dress for her daughter to wear and she did not.
I am a huge fan of white dresses for girls and have many in many different sizes and told her that I would send her one in the mail.
even one in my size - this is me in my good mail white dress prompted by and SPT last year. this was our family the day of our private white house tour last year.

Easter 2007So I knew exactly which one I would give to this mother to have her little girl wear. I don't keep all the girls clothes even though I would like to - just the smocked and real sentimental ones. Even though this dress was in my keep box, I knew it would do much more good to be given away then to pull out of a box to show my girls in 20 years.
