this is a photo of annie kate's sticker books. The kids at her school and in the neighborhood collect these mushy/ liquid stickers. they are not allowed to trade at school anymore but they still love getting together to trade anywhere they can.
i love that she does this, it keeps her young. Caroline has her own book too and will sit with the big kids and act like she is trading with them.
how do you feel about collecting?

I LOVE collecting! I think it's probably responsible for my having too much stuff and not enough space for everything. I can't get enough dishes, cookbooks, napkins, wrapping paper, books, ribbon, paper, and pretty much all scrapbook supplies...
My problem with collecting, is then what?! Now I have a basement full of things I don't really want but have some attachment to....including my 2 volumes of sticker books from 3rd grade.
I don't think I'm a collector, I may be a horder of certain things like paper products, scrapbook supplies, and cute pencils but I don't really think of any of my stuff as a collection.
I didn't realize that I was a collector until the dreaded "Beanie Baby" Craze!!! And now that I live in Indiana I LOVE Vera Bradley bags...which by the way, the annual sale is coming up in May, my mother and I are going, so if you have any requests just let me know!!!!
I remember collecting stickers when I was a kid. My older sister was way into it so of course i had to be too.
I'm not a collector. Though I'm with Jill I believe it's more like hording. I have lots of black frames, idea books, etc.
