what i am going to miss...
since I am on the subject about what i am going to miss about Nashville, here is one more. I love country music. I really LOVE it! it is all we listen to, other than disney mania 4.
What i love about Nashville is that so many people are here to start their music career.
When we first moved here we lived in a small townhome on the railroad tracks (oh the memories... yuck! i don't think i can ever even post about this because it was such a horrible time for us) one of the good things while we were there, the only good thing were our neighbors. We had many! But one of them was a young couple Jason and Jessica. He was trying to make it in the music business. He used to sit on the front steps and sing to Annie Kate with his guitar. His wife used to make me fried cornbread and beans all the time.
Well, he has now made it. He is up for the horizon award at the CMA's this June, He has just released his second video and is touring with Rascal Flats. You can check out his site here.
We are so proud of him and his wife for sticking by him to make it happen!

That's so cool that you lived next door to him and that he used to sing to Annie Kate. You really do know everybody.

That is something you will always remember. Hey maybe when he gets really big he'll ask you up on stage!

So neat. I is always impressive to see someone go for a really big outlandish impossible dream and have it a reality. I love the song. What a great memory to take away with you.

They can interview you on CMA and you can say "he used to sing to my daughter on the porch."
