fabric stores.
I love fabric, paper, ribbon, magazines, and fabric. I now live 2.2 miles (oh love that GPS) from Jo-ann fabric store. The "Good News - Bad News" (as P.C. would say) is that no one shops there so it is packed with sale stuff, but it is gross which is why no one shops there. I went tonight to get the exact color of thread to hem Jeff's class B uniform pants (oh and may I say how good he looks in his uniform, ooh la la!). I hemmed them last night using my blind hem stitch and there was nothing blind about it. I hope the new thread will help.
Anyway, I ran in when it was closing and wow, the store was 70% off. They had a ton of their garden baskets. (Lauara G. you would have loved them) I was able to replace my hanging baskets that I left for our new home owners for so cheap.
The store was a little gross but extremely close and packed full of goodies.
I will add this to my list of what I like about where we have moved, to be posted at a later date.
and for those of you considering a visit, there is a RIBBON OULET 45 min from my house! I got the scoop from a fellow blogger, now if the Lincoln Memorial does not tempt you I know that will.

I will not be tempted by the ribbon outlet until I see photo documentation of its greatness, but 70% off at JoAnn's hmmm.
There is something about a man in a uniform, isn't there? My grandma says that Grandpa tricked her into marrying him by wearing that uniform...
The only thing I like better than a 70% off sale is the notion of a ribbon outlet!!! Holy cow. That sounds like a little bit of heaven.
Michelle , there is one in PA too.
I am so coming there while you live there. What a wonderful find, and how much fun for you
