Great Mail.
Thanks to my friend Jill for starting the concept of "Good Mail" I have benefited greatly today. My mom sent the girls in the house (me included) a package to ease the stress of our move and let us know that she is thinking about us. The reason I mention Jill because in my moms card she wrote, "I thought you might need some "good mail" as Jill would say" (so thanks Jill)
When the mailman knocked on the door I was upstairs finding Sally Jane, who is now famous for taking off her diaper when she sleeps, covered in ... well should I say it looked like a volcanic explosion. It was 1:30 pm and I was still in my pajamas. So the box was a welcomed distraction.
The girls went crazy! It seriously felt like Christmas.
One of the best parts of our hour that it took to open the box was Annie Kate finding $10 in a card that she sent (top photo) Annie Kate has been saving for something since February and this gave her enough money to buy it (more to come tomorrow) and I captured her realizing she finally had enough money.
So, Mom thank you so much for thinking of us. I know how hard it is for you to get a package like this together (thank you Kari for the help too) The girls loved it and the shampoo and conditioner are such a fun thing that will make me want to wake up and get going in the morning. (I will devote a special post to "one of my favorite things on those for sure)

Way to go Ruth! How gratifying to see the photos of the good mail being received. Annie Kate's giddy face is precious. What a treat.

Excellent mail. There's nothing like a package to lift everyone's spirits! I love that you captured that expression on AK when she realized she had the money she needed.
