morning walks

This morning we walked around the neighborhood before going to the farmers market on main street. There are three lakes in the neighborhood, which make for some beautiful walks.

The girls loved feeding the geese and finding a secret path down by the lake. We bought yummy homemade muffins at the market with some white peaches (our family favorites) It was a great morning. It is beautiful here. morning photos

hi,

i don't know if you remember me, i'm one of the hansen girls (the oldest one) from new orleans and you were our seminary teacher for a short while. but i've found your blog through the other new orleans ladies' blogs and i thought i'd finally post a comment on yours! i LOVE all your pictures. you're girls are so cute. i can't believe you have 3 now. when i was in new orleans annie kate was just a baby. she's such a young lady now! anyway, its been fun reading about your life through this blog. i hope you can continue to get settled into your new house and neighborhood.

love, jessica

Great pictures Kristi, I especially love the one of Sally Jane that you shot from below her, very cool.

It seems like you moved to an enchanted neighborhood or something. What a cool place to live. It makes me feel like I don't venture beyond my house and favorite haunts much. I should be better about taking walks with the kids and examining our surrounding areas better even though they're not enchanted.
