Screaming at the monkeys!
The funniest thing we saw today was not the animals at the zoo but was Sally Jane screaming at them. She sounded like she was scared, but she would laugh so hard after she was done screaming. oh my it was hillarious.
More of day at the National Zoo.

I remember going there and could NOT get over the FREE part. Nothing's free anymore, and during residency, it was VERY APPRECIATED! Too bad my Weston screams like he's seeing the monkeys...everywhere we go. I'm looking forward to that phase ending!
I'm sure it beats the Nashville Zoo hands down! Gotta love the free part. I guess its to make up for EVERYTHING else costing a fortune? :)
When I first saw that photo I thought she was terrified, but how funny that she was just being interactive. How was the combination of humidity and smell? I'm such a mouth breather when I'm at the zoo.
That photo is hilarious! Eva loves to growl at people and things. I wonder what she would make of the monkeys? Like Jill, all I could think of was how you were handling the heat and humidity? I think I would want to live indoors.
How funny. Don't you just love zoos? Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago is also a free zoo and the thing that cracks me up is that they also have farm animals in this zoo. Poor inner city kids that have never seen a cow.
So funny. She looks like she is enjoying the zoo. Did you think about leaving her with the monkeys?
I love the whole Free aspect of DC. It needs to be free, because DC is so expensive.
ask lara about when making funny noises or faces at monkeys they don't appreicate it so they will throw poop at you.
