so today was a great day. I was actually able to clean the house. Everything seems to be finding a place and the boxes are disappearing.

Jeff had his first day of orientation to the U.S. Army. I am sure he stood in line all day. HUAW! (Hurray up and wait)

I took the girls to my friend Emily's house in Potomac. Emily and her sisters are in town this week. Emily lives outside of Boston.

It was so fun to see Emily and her sister Holly. They don't look any different than they did in the 80's, their family just does not age! They are so stinkin cute! It was fun to meet Emily's kids and Annie Kate was in her element, finally kids her age. Emily and Holly both have boys annie kate's exact age and a daughter 2 years older.

But I forgot to bring my camera. I can not belive it. The photo ops were everywhere to be found. I had one of my best days yet. Caroline was a swimming fish. She even jumped off the diving board (she does not swim) Sally Jane then started jumping in off the step. I did so much talking though, i think the girls might have got a bit sunburned.. oops, i am sure blog photos to follow of that.

It was just fun to see old friends. It makes me excited for my two friends Shaylce and Danielle who are starting college this fall, knowing that they will be meeting their new lifelong friends.

note to self. don't leave house without camera!

Bummer! I hate when I leave without my camera--especially days like this. It almost makes you want to keep one in the car at all times. Glad you had a good day!!

How fun that you got to spend the day with Emily, Holly and their kids. That sounds like such a fun day, but I'm sick for you that you didn't have your camera with you. I'd love to see photos of all of you together.

Sounds like me everyday. I usually go without my camera. I hate it when that happens. Did Rebecca come with them too? How fun to spend the day with old friends.

Oh, man! How fun to see Emily, Holly and the kids! I'm bummed that you didn't take your camera just because I want to see them for myself. Sounds like you had a great day. I can't imagine Eva jumping off of a step!

I'm in NYC at Rebecca's house and finally got a chance to sit down and read your blog. It was SO fun seeing you and your adorable girls. I'll send you the pictures from our day of swimming. You definitely have to go on the Pirate Adventure--it was a blast! Also, thanks for the blogging/craft/creative ideas lessons last night--you inspired all of us!
