Pin Cushion
today I have been doing a lot of sewing and monogramming. Sally Jane (17 months) spent some time by me and the sewing machine. What was so funny was her watching me take the straight pins out of the fabric and putting them in my mouth while I was sewing.
I can only imagine what she must have been thinking.

"Of all the times my mom has told me not to put things in my mouth,
and she is sticking pins in hers"

Edit*** found this on allsorts

That's a darling pincushion! Evie likes to sit by me too! I even got her her own tomato pin cusion, she loves it. I just had to cut off that little pin sharpener pod thing because she was chewing on it. What are you working on? Do tell!

I am working on a few surprises. i did take photos and may post them after they are received.
don't know if it is weird to post mail sent, but they may give some people some good ideas.

oh, and i meant to post about the pin cushion must have.
if you sew and don't have one of those magnetic pin catcher, run to the store and buy one. they only cost about $8.00 and you can always find a coupon. i actually now have two for the two different kind of straight pins i have.

and ... i am getting ready to do a embroidery machine post. i have had a few people ask me what kind of machine i have and such. so i will do that next week for anyone interested in sewing.

It's cute to think of Sally Jane hanging out with you while you're sewing. It's also funny to think how bizarre it must be for her to see you with pins coming out of your mouth. I can't wait to see what you're working on.

I love that pincushion! Where did you find it? Did you make it? I love birds--and I saw stuffed goodies at MarzipanGarden.com but I tried to make my own and failed. What is your secret, sewing guru?
Fun fun fun!!!

That sounds like a wonderful day to be doing a lot of sewing and monogramming, especially with Sally Jane just hanging out with you. Can she give Eva pointers on doing that? You have totally got me wanting an embroidery machine -- I'm so jealous of all the darling things you do!
