pink tape.
I picked this up at the store tonight and was having panic attack and a million things running through my head. Those are moments when I want to call Stacy S. when I find a product made for something total not for crafting but it works perfectly.
I don't even know what hair tape is used for. But I rushed home and started taping envelopes shut with it, making cards with it. It has a fabric feel and a rick rack, pinking edge.
Oh the possibilities. Pick some up in the hair isle and then let me know what you come up with and I will do the same.
If the company was smart they would make it in every color and sell it at the craft store!

and if anyone knows what hair tape is for I would love to know.

I have never heard of hair tape. Looks interesting. Does it have directions on the back? I would think that would be pretty hard to try and hold hair and wrap that thing around it.

My mom was a hairdresser and I know that she used to use it when she did perms and stuff. Like she would use it instead of a clip to keep the hair in place. But that's the only time I've ever heard of it. I didn't even know they still made it. Too cute.

Are you sure you don't want any money to help with all the postage for the Pink Christmas? I was going to send you some!! Can't wait to get going. :) Loved the postcard!!

Too funny! I've never heard of hair tape before, but now I can see that someone like you can give anything a whole new meaning and purpose. Can't wait to see your results!

I'm curious. I will have to look for it. Jessica always wants a ponytail where you wrap a little bit of hair around the top to make it look more fancy. We can't seem to get all the loose ends tucked in...maybe it could be a strip of cute riboon tape instead?

You're brilliant. Was your pink radar on or what? How did you even spot that and decide you could use it on paper? Very cool.

I am now wondering just how adhesive it will be. If I remember right, it comes off hair without hurting it, so... I never tried it on paper. It would look sooooo cute though. :) Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Ok. This is definitely dating me, but back in the 60's the teenagers on our school bus put it on their wet hair until it had dried in the shape they wanted it (straighter bangs, a curlie cue at the front) etc. I kid you not. You could tell the well-off girls from the not-so-well off ones because the not-so-well off ones used scotch tape. Back then gell was called Dippity-Do, too.

I used tape all the time, but had never heard of "HAIR" tape -- all I ever knew was the Scotch Tape Variety, and I used it for bangs, the sides of my hair, etc. Always had to watch for the residue from the tape, though, as it would look really dirty if you didn't get it all off. I'll have to see about that pink hair tape -- plus what projects you come up with I hope you will share!!!
