Labor Day weekend with no Labor!

"Historic" farmington, best chile renos ever, salsa on my shirt, Tide stick saves the day, great thrift stores, new gauchos, Vera Bradley, antique quilt, Brighton sunglasses, Buchanan Consultants, memories of Dad's office, candies on the edge of the bed, Sally Jane sleeping in, towel shaped creatures by dad, Farmers Market, fresh grilled green chilies, waiting for Ryan Rachel, Kari s parents coming inLuke fixing the car, meeting Elle for the first time, yummy cajun boil, so spicey not enough diet coke, Harley fest in Durango (love that place), the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, the bear claw, early church, Elle's blessing, seeing Bishop Moeller, salsa and cottage cheese, new turquoise from Taos, Failing toLaunch, Murph and Sparky, getting exciting about St. George, making baby annoucements, grilled shrimp, "hey guys watch this" remember the Sunny D video with Jill, laughing so hard we can't breathe, Savannah and Sally Jane not wanting to touch the grass, peach pie, yummy red jello with sour cream, looking at vintage toys in the basement, finding my dad's baby book , doiong my hair in my mom's bathroom (it always turns out better there) hanging family photos, not getting bit by bugs, the back deck, my dad's pansies, saying goodbye to family,Sally Jane screaming on the airplane, seeing the girls, Caroline and Sally Jane squeezing each other tight, big kisses from Jeff, great trip!

***gift idea. After a long trip it is a great gift idea to write up snipits of your trip or memories and print them and give in a small frame to the person you visited.

Mindy, no kidding. my 60 year visiting teacher in nashville told me to buy it, she said i needed it. I loved her so she could say stuff like that to me.
it is from target, $12.00 and it is the best. but everytime i wear it I always thing everyone must be thinking , "Ya Right, you don't look like that"
who knows maybe I will take adavatage of all these medical miliatary benefits...

It sounds like you had a great trip. I love being at my parents' house. Loved the image of you doing your hair in your mom's bathroom. I do that too.

I love it that you took pictures of all that historically significant stuff at your parents' house. Very cool.

I need a miracle bra to strap me down. I sometimes wonder if I should wrap myself up in an Ace bandage or something.
