my kids are never watching T.V. again!
{ok before you freak out by that statement read on..}
Ok remember what I said about wanting to sew my daughter's wedding dresses, unless they can all fit into a size 3, pink, Sleeping Beauty dress they will be hitting the streets to buy one off the rack. I am in Halloween Hades!

....especially when Caroline announces at the dinner table tonight, that she wants to be a pink Power Ranger for Halloween. Are you kidding me? That is what I get for taking her to the gym nursery today where they had Power Rangers playing on the T.V. the whole time. Oh ya, the gym is getting a letter from me!

and please don't comment with any "I told you so" and that means you too Jeff!

Oh no! You never can be too careful when you take your kids to the gym! At least she wants to be the pink ranger. Kaitlin would love to be Superman. Or Krypto the Superdog--thanks cousin Gabe!

i do have to say so i don't sound too weird on any normal day i probably would not have cared they had that on, but the fact that it has changed her Halloween mind...
tomoroww I will be renting Sleeping Beauty and have it playine 24/7 until the holiday!

I'm so sorry you're suffering through Halloween Hades, but I must say it's amusing from where I sit. Good luck.

Don't you just love that?? Kids can be so fickle sometimes! I also must admit, that I don't always approve of what they let little ones watch at places like that. I mean really, what are they thinking? Power Rangers isn't too bad, but some things.. I'd better not get started. :) Hopefully she'll revert back to Sleeping Beauty!

Good plan with the Sleepin Beauty brain-washing session.

I would die if Mya changed her mind- especially since her costume is finally done and off my list!

Thats the bummer part of a little one her age. I know because I currently have one. I had to laugh because I remember Joella going through this same thing many years ago. I remember her always making the best homemade costumes. Justin changed his mind at the last minute to be something else. I can't remember what she did but I think he was too around three.

On the other hand if it makes you feel any better I made Taylor a fairy costume when she was two and she refused to let me try it on her and even the night of trunk or treat threw a HUGE tantrum. I being mean forced it on...after all I MADE the dang thing. The funny part was once I got it on her (with her puffy eyes) she looked in the mirror and LOVED it. Gotta love 2 year olds!! Sorry for the novel.

Maybe you can play Sleeping Beauty over and over today and she will want to be it again.

So funny! That is a toddler for you! If she is anything like my girls, a couple times watching Sleeping Beauty and she will be hooked!!

Thanks for the idea about Bath and Body...I love love to burn oil but haven't been to the store in a long time. I think I will love the Christmas one, not to mention a yummy pumpkin one for November!! Thanks for the reminder!!

You know, Mom told me an interesting story about you today... something about planet of the apes, a Sears catalog, a seven year old, and the best costume ever... that never got worn. Do you remember any story like that? Hmm.

Costumes are SOOO hard. You are awesome for not giving up. As for the wedding dress...I will not be surprised if when you finnish the 1st wedding dress you say "that was easier then that Aurora costume, that nearly killed me".

Oh man. Nothing worse than a kid changing her mind about her Halloween costume. I sure hope the Sleeping Beauty brainwashing works!
