Just Released

I have never cared about or even know when a CD is going to be released, but I have to say today I did. I was like a teenager going to make my purchase.

Keith Urban's new CD was released. The last time I bought a CD or even a song on itunes it was his. Every single song on his last CD was great.

Also Josh Groban's new CD Awake also released. Excellent. Song playing is from another CD. It is one of my all time favorite songs. I play it on my ipod at the end of a work out.
He sang this song to Oprah on her 50th birthday. The lyrics pretty much sum up how Jeff and I feel about each other. Title, "You Raise Me Up" You can scroll to the bottom to watch the video. But the new CD is excellent on lead song is another winner.
Also, Cars was released today. I have seen it twice in the theaters and have never seen the ending. Never seem to make it through the whole movie with my girls. Cars also has a great soundtrack with lots of great country stars.

today was voting day and the kids had the day off of school for it. We are absentee voters since we have remained TN residents. Can't seem to give up our southern roots.

How do you feel about Country music? Josh Groban? Voting?

I used to be a big country music listener, but sadly I haven't really been a faithful listener since high school.

I meant to go out and buy cars for our road trip next week (14 hours ahhh) So I need to go and purchase it. We loved that movie!

As far as voting goes, I didn't vote today--I know slap on my wrist. Sadly, the only politicians I ever kept up on were New Orleans (maybe because I had to type the news everyday there). Cute pj's!

I Love Country Music too! I watched the CMA's last night while I folded my mountain of laundry!! Gotta love Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw as well as Keith Urban!! (And many others!!)

I voted by absentee ballot also. I'm so glad I did too, because I heard it took over 2 hours in line!! There were so many issues/candidates on our ballots here in CO that I can see why it took a long time!! But, I'm SO glad that all the campaigning is over...all those nasty attack ads were driving me insane!

Well since you asked...Is there anything but country music??? I love it. I remember the first christmas that I got my own tape player and a recorded tape of Marie Osmond. I'm sure there were other country artists. I think I was about 8 or 9. I've loved country music ever since. I've even encouraged Spencer to like it. Today on the way home from UT he ASKED to listen to Lonestar. He loves Keith Urban as well. Country music just gives me the best feeling when I listen to it. I could listen to Josh Groban all day as well.

I love country music but I also listen to other stuff. Greg & I went to see Josh Groban last year in concert. It was great especially You raise me up!

I was on my way to buy Cars but got sidetracked at the mall. Maybe I'll get it tomorrow.

Voting-oops! I didn't forget but by the time I figured out where our poling site was my kids were home and well...

I bought the Josh Groban CD on iTunes today. I'll probably buy the Keith Urban one soone--have to check my checking account balance. If it's the difference between fun shopping at Paper Source this weekend and a new CD I'm going to choose Paper Source.

I didn't vote today. I don't think I'm registered in our new voting district because I didn't get any info in the mail. I thought I did that when I changed my driver's licence. Hmm. . .will have to look into that. Frankly, though, I'm very disillusioned by our politicians right now. I know that's no reason to not vote, but I didn't know anything about any of the candidates. So, if I voted based solely on party affiliation, and not a candidate's platform, isn't that kind of like not voting at all?

You Raise Me Up was "our" song when my husband and I got married in 2004. He sang it at the superBowl that year and I immediately fell in love it! I want to get the new Clint Black CD. Not sure I would buy the Keith Urban CD, but maybe! OH and we always vote, can't understand why anyone wouldn't.

LOve Keith Urban and love Josh Groban. I could listen to Josh all day. (especially "you raise me up.") I will have to listen to more if KU CD because I havent heard much of his new songs. (I know it is pathetic.) As far as voting goes...YES WE VOTED!! We did early voting ballots in the mail and I loved it. We had some pretty intense campaigns going on this year, so I couldn't sit back and watch. The two big ones were declaring marriage is between a woman and man, and the other was to ban smoking in all public places.
We will see how it turned out!

I love Country music and listen to it a lot. Eric took Ruby on a date to A&W and the song “hell ya” came on and Ruby was singing along to it. Eric asked her how she knew the words and she said “because Mom listens to this music all the time”. I really do change the station when that comes on…

Yes I voted. No wait just walked right in. We live in such a liberal State with so many problems, I can't imagine not voting.

I enjoy country music, though I haven't been listening to it as much lately (I tend to go in spurts). I like Keith Urban a lot, but don't have any of his cds.

I think I like Josh Groban, but not enough to buy his cds.

Okay- so voting is a must for me. I love election season and anxiously awaited the results. I LOVE voting.

I am a huge country fan. I'll have to look into Keith Urban's new cd. I saw him at Jazzfest this year and LOVED him.

I love country music. Keith Urban and Rascal Flatts are at the top of my list. I do listen to other stuff too but I usually start with country.

Josh Groban is also a favorite. He is so relaxing for me, I can chill out when listening to him.

I have never really gotten into country music. I like the Dixie Chicks, but it's never gone farther for me. Maybe I'll have to give Keith
Urban a listen.

I guess it's an unpopular thing to say, but I don't like Josh Groban.

Voting is a must for me. Eva and I walked over to the jr. high this afternoon. Even when I feel like my vote doesn't count, I still have to do it.

I love Josh Groban. His voice is just amazing. The new songI like all types of music, but I have always loved country music.
Even back when country wasn't cool. We bought the Cars movie. My oldest loves it, but Lindsey and Michael just weren't into it.

hi kristi, i love the song you raise me up as well. it has very special meaning to me and my husband... a couple of years ago we made a movie with it that was about Christ. It has our whole hearts in it and so we will always have fond memories with that song in it. i check your blog every once in awhile when I am ready to be amazed at how cute you are. Really i have never met or known of anyone else like you. I really enjoy your take on life. Have a good day.

i love josh groban...i have his 2nd cd and that song you raise me up...I often think if my kids once sing that to me...that would be wonderful! Some how, I always think it is a tribute....I don't have the first one or the last one, but something to look forward to. Country I don't really care for, although there are a few songs I have loved and voting yeah i did with two kids, a todler and a baby...crazy!
