This Christmas Annie Kate was teetering on how the whole Santa thing works. So to keep her on the believing side I teamed up with our neighbor and we both gave the kids skateboards with notes from Santa saying he was giving them both one. It totally worked! They spent the afternoon practicing in Carson's garage and made up a routine for the neighborhood Christmas Party. They performed to music and made a signed and called themselves the A.A.C. (Alex, Annie & Carson)Caroline loved our neighbors dog and I loved seeing her carrying her around. This was the closest my kids will ever get to having a dog. This is such a great photo. The neighbor kids watching Carson's video catching Santa, look at the look on Aiden's face! Jeff/Santa made a little visit to Carson's house while he was sleeping to stage another video for them.
It was a great day!

so fun to still believe! what a great way to keep all of them excited about it. sounds like it was a great weekend.
My daughter -12yrs.old is looking at this with me (she's waiting to be picked up for b.sitting job)
A school mate told her santa wasn't real when they were in Kindergarten!! She is my first child and only girl and I was Devastated!! She was barely 5!!!
So sad!
So, she thinks it's cute that your daughter still believes! Oh ya- & the skate boarding is a fave around here! cute.-ciao
Gotta love the street rat skater chick! We all skate and have boards that my brother makes on our game/band room wall. I think that it is fantastic that your daughter wants to skateboard!!
What a fun thing to do for your neighbor and help video tape a Santa sighting! So awesome!
I love the expression on that little boy's face watching the video -- you know he is telling everyone he knows about it. How fun!
I can't wait to see the Santa video. The look on Aiden's face is perfect.
That expression is priceless. I also love the look on the boy's face next to him....so proud of himself for "catching" Santa.
I love that she got a skateboard! That is too cute.
