From Mistletoe to Kyrptonite

For the past few months I feel like someone has been dangling Mistletoe over my head, I have been in the giving Christmas spirit, happy, go lucky, then this weekend hit, and now I think someone is dangling Kyrptonite over me. I am sick in the full word of sick! I have the dreaded, yuckiets flu. Yesterday I didn't move out of my bed and watched 12 hours of the food network and National geographic. I am not a big t.v. watcher so this was kind of torture, but anything to keep my mind off the pain. I couldn't look at a magazine, book and didn't even look at the computer.
I can not remember the last time I felt this sick. I could feel I was getting sick but knew I had to get through our planned events on Thursday, Friday and ward party (cute photos coming) on Saturday and after that my body checked out.
I am headed back to bed and just hope I can get better in time to finish all my Christmas projects, ie: our Christmas cards that I have not even started!
Back to bed, don't know when I will be back!

Oh dear, I hope you feel better soon! I've been fighting off something, and I know just what you mean about not being able to read or look at a computer screen, since that is how I was feeling for a few days. My kids are all sick and at home too. I hope you can get all your Christmas projects done!

Hope you are feeling better soon! I think that during the holiday season we try to do too much and sometimes our body just screams for us to slow down. It is extra hard to be sick when you are the Mom! Hope you recover quickly!

Oh you poor girl, I feel for you and know exactly what you mean. It's like you made it through all the stuff you absolutely had to do and then your body gave you a mandatory rest period. I hope you recover quickly, but until then just go with it and rest.

Feel better soon! That's a miserable way to feel -- especially when there's things you want to and need to be doing. Take it easy on yourself!

Oh yuck!! that is my FEAR that we will get the flu that is going around. I am being so CRAZY with the hand sanitizer but in the end there is nothing you can do to really stop it from hitting!

When I was full-on pregnancy sick, i couldn't get on the computer. It made me feel worse for some reason. Thats why there were so few blogs between September and November.
