Santa is coming to town! Have I said lately how much I love our neighborhood? It is something out of Norman Rockwell. There are no front garages and all the houses look like gingerbread homes or the brownstones in Boston. We feel so fortunate to be able to live here.
Well, tonight was the night that Santa comes around the neighborhood on a firetruck (8 in the party to be exact) and passes out candy canes to the kids. The sirens go off and everyone runs outside.
Of course at 8:00 pm 2/3 of my kids have been asleep for an hour, but Annie Kate got to chase him down.
What a wonderful new tradition for us!

How fun for the kids. My kids would be more than thrilled to see not only Santa, but on a cool firetruck as well. Ummmm step aside Mardi Gras!
I've never heard of such a big entrance for Santa, very cool.
Santa drives around my neighborhood in a firetruck as well. I look forward to it each year. I LOVE this tradition!
