I love it I love it!! I have to admit I pick the gunk out of my kids ears too. Can't stand to see it in there. You can't seriously want a perm -- I love your hair! I love your pink phone. I hate that so many people seem to feel free to tell you how you should change.

Thanks for sharing all of this and have a fabulous birthday!

It is a vulnerable feeling to put your list out there, but I am quite sure you have nothing to fear -- it was fun to read, honest and so endearing. And, I'm so glad you did it!

I have converted to all white kitchen towels and wash cloths because I love to bleach them, but haven't done it with bath towels yet. I suffer from #61, as well. We might be a problem on the phone together. :) I loved your #116 -- same here.

Happy Birthday!

I love the image of your thick silver bob with a white streak. Very cute.

Your list made me smile, and I think you bring out the best in people. I can hardly believe that you fight depression and I admire how you fight it with happiness.

I too love all the freckles on my arms.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I loved the list and the photos were fun! I laughed out loud about the swatch - totally forgot about that. Did you wear more than one at a time? I did - too funny. Oh, crying at conferences - I had a breakdown during a conference once. I just get so worked up about your children and it comes out in tears. I seriously think I scared the teacher! Had to come home, regroup and write her an email! Loved your list! Enjoy your 36th birthday.

I have been waiting for your list and even got 36 more! So great to learn more about you! Wow, I can't believe that you have lived in so many different states, that's so neat. I am always barefoot...and also suffer from cracked heals-hehehe!

Kristi,
I have often called myself a chameleon, but have learned to embrace that aspect of my personality instead of look at it as a weakness. It means you are more understanding, easy to get along with, great at reading people, and find a way to relate to everyone you know. You may be easily persuaded, but it does not mean your values are low, it means you want to be more like the people you love and are constantly looking to emulate the qualities you admire. I love that I can be goofy with one person, serious with the next, be so many things to different people, and they are all me. It makes me complex. Happy birthday fellow chameleon.

Ok Kristi, I don't think you should feel self-conscious about your list at all! I thought it was a great list. I hope you have a fabluous birthday!! You deserve it!

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope your day is full of laughter, smiles, love, & tons of great memories.

I've never metyou in person but I feel you share your talents daily on your blog.

Retucking my girls in bed at night is a must for me, too. I'm sure they have no idea I do it and kiss them all again, but it makes me go to sleep faster.

How do you feel about crying so easily? I cry over anything and it drives me crazy, but then I realize I definitely have a sensitive heart and I like that.

Great list!!

I love your list. It was very fun to read. The quilt you made is absolutely beautiful, I can't believe it was your first one.
Happy Birthday, hope it's great!

When you are having a bad day just look at these comments of how many people think you are smart, creative, talented, and just plain wonderful. That is one way to keep the "head monsters" from bringing you down by telling you otherwise. Thanks for all you do and hope your day was as happy as you make everyone else.

Melinda said...

Happy Birthday!! I hope you have a great day and get spoiled by all!

I love your list. It was great to get to know you better. I relate to many of your items like the cracked heels, spelling, the baskin robbins ice cream, and especially the talking thing. I always feel like I talk peoples ears off. I think you are one of the most talented people and I wish I could have just a smiggen of your creativity.

Have a wonderful day!

What the heck, I thought I commented before. I came back to read all the ones you were getting.

Your list is wonderful and what a fabulous idea to post it on your bday! I love fresh tomatoes, had a hard first couple years in marriage, always whisper to my kids when they are asleep even though they never know and I would love to visit the ribbon outlet!

I know what you mean about this being emotional, after I finished mine I re-read it and I cried at least 3 times.

One more time...Happy Birthday!!

That is a bond I love sharing with people. :-) Happy late birthday, and I look forward to learning more from you. You are a phenomenal person and have touched more lives than you know.

Kristi-

I have enjoyed browsing your blog the last few days as I have just recently joined this world. I have heard so much about you from my friends Mindy Johnson, and Julie Shipp. The first few days of reading I will admit I got a bit depressed on all the things that I "wasn't". Now that I found your 100 (136) list I feel so much better because we are SO much alike! I feel like I understand you and appreciate your style of writing and your willingness to let it all hang out. I hope you don't mind me intruding on your blog, but it has already positivley influenced my life.

I hope you're not creeped out that I'm leaving a comment on your blog! I found you through the Pink Christmas project.

We share a lot of thoughts, talents, qualities, etc., except that I don't sew...at all. I'm impressed and happy that you felt like you could share some of the challenges you have along with your talents and successes.

I'm started running - just a 5K, someday - but maybe I can do more!

One more thing to add to your list: You're an inspiring person.

Thanks for this post!
