6 unusual things about me.

tagged by Carlo
  1. I can't drink out of a glass at a restaurant because it grosses me out to think someone else lips have been on the glass, I use a straw. But it doesn't bother me to use the silverware
  2. I have about 15 drafts/unwritten blog posts in my blogger dashboard that are half written.
  3. I don't like cell phones
  4. I want a Perm! (but need someone to talk me out of it)
  5. I want to get rid of all of T.V.'s in our house, but probably never will.
  6. I am afraid of the dark and when my husband is out of town, I sleep with the light on.
ok Stacy tagging you...

What a great picture of you Kristi. Same here with the light on while sleeping alone (Ryan is going out of town this week, so I'm getting prepared).

I have many drafts not posted as well. Some eventually get posted some do not. I think it's cute you sleep with the light on when your husbands out of town.

Darling photo of you.

Fun list - gorgeous picture! Look at that beautiful shiny hair that does not need a perm!

You and Price Cream Parlor need to go out to eat together sometime -- she is *this* close to bringing her own silverware in her purse. :)

I am the same way with glasses/silverware.

I am so curious about the ward you are attending. I need to do some research on your blog and see if I can find "the rest of the story."

I hate the dark when Jimmy is gone too.

I always go the rounds with wanting a perm. I have crappy hair that doesn't keep curl so it never works for me. Does yours keep curl? I would love your hair either way.

Love the photo too! Such a happy face.

When my husband works nights or is out of town I have almost every light in the house on too and it takes me until around 2 or 3 in the morning to finally fall asleep. I know your feelings.

Aside from the perm comment, those are all things that I definitely didn't know about you.

ok, please email me if you need further consideration about the perm. i have been rereading some of my old journals, wherein i actually did get a perm, so i'd be happy to share some of my agony with you (if it would help...tee hee)

I totally get your resturant thing! Kelly is right, I am one step away from bringing my own silverware. I need intervention, I'm sure!
Such a cute photo of you!
I use to sleep with the lights on when my hubs was away - I don't anymore. Otherwise, they would be on all the time!

i hear you on the cell phone, lame....however without cell phones and GPS DC is pretty tough, for my bday mom and dad got me a garmin, so awesome! it shows highways and what not....soo cool, Bens chili will have to be a waypoint for sure.

If you have a TV that is bigger than 13", can I have it? I could by a 21", to replace our current one, but I am too cheap to pay for a new tv. You get a cell phone plan and you get a free phone. Same should apply for tv. So if you want to get rid of one of your tv's, so that I can goodwill mine, let me know.

Awww, Kristi, if perms just had another name, I'm sure they'd be much more socially 'acceptable', but the term 'perm' has so many connotations, doesn't it? It's a bind. I've got straight hair and there's really nothing wrong with wanting a little 'bounce' in it!

We went without a TV for a while. Unfortunately it co-incided with the Sydney Olympics. Everyone told my husband at work they were the best Olympics EVER, and he quietly seethed...

I don't know what our girls would make of not having a TV. Not so much because of the TV side of it, but because they love to watch their videos/DVDs.

Is your nightlight using an energy-saving bulb?? *raises eyebrow expectantly*

After working in a hotel, I definitely am more aware of the glasses I drink out of...though if I do a good examination and it looks fine, I drink away. Sometimes at work we would come across a glass that didn't get cleaned very well that would have bright pink lipstick on it...especially the coffee mugs. Yuck! It used to make me so bugged with our banquet and kitchen staff that my clients had to find glasses like that! Hello, that's disgusting!

I feel that way about restaurant glasses too.

I hate cell phones, but still use mine. Uh-oh.

Do NOT get a perm!

I sometimes think about getting rid of our tv, but then I remember that I'd miss all my shows. Ha.

I'm not afraid of the dark in this house, but probably would be if I had a bigger place.

I can relate to the water and the dark. Who says that just because you get older you get over your fears. Eventually I get around to those unfinished posts, but sometimes the emotion and urgency behind them is gone.
I like the t-shirt idea. Maybe we should get the photo and have the t-shirt sent to Jeff :).

dang! YOu are one hottie! I say go for the perm, if you don't like it...at least it will give you body when you blow dry your hair.

Pretty funny about the restaurant glasses. Why is the silverware ok? I was about to talk you out of a perm, but then I realized that I chemically straightened my hair, and that amounts to the same thing!

I always have a light on in my house regardless if Matt is home or not.

What a beautiful picture of you.
