Me at Mt. Vernon
I should be a docent

I spent the day at Mt. Vernon again. I think I may just apply for a job there. I was thrilled to get a photo for my "Me In D.C." gallery because I had forgot to take one two weeks ago when I went.some of the girls in the hands on center trying on the clothes

I went with the girls from our Kentlands Ward "A" days. We call it "A"days because no one can remember if it is Achievement or Activity days.

The girls did the adventure maps (a must if you take your older kids) and got the gold seal at the end and rewarded with a stick of old fashioned candy.

It was a long day, but am just amazed how you can go again and again and always learn something new.

Lucky for me Jeff was home to watch the little ones, so I could have another fun day with Annie Kate. I love Mt. Vernon.

Lucky you--always so many fun things to do around D.C. I don't think our A-day girls have seen anything like it here!!!

That's great that they can try the clothes on.

Good job J could watch the other two as well. I was only just thinking yesterday that I'd love to spend a day just with Erin to go clothes shopping with her. She's getting to that age now where she has actual opinions on her clothes!

Well remembered to get YOURSELF in a shot!

I can't believe you went back again so soon, you really could be a docent there. I like your "me in DC" photos and think that's a great idea.

I like the idea of "A days", i never remember what it's called either.
That is so cool that your lips are naturally pink, I noticed that in your picture and remembered that you mentioned it in your last post. Cute pictures.

You should be a docent! You are so enthusiastic, people would line up to get you as their guide!

So fun to have a "big girl" A day with AK!
