There was no complaining from me today when I needed to visit Goodwill to find a Clara Barton costume. I love the hunt in thrift stores.

I found the above little Easter basket for $.59

I bought each of the girls a key board to play with since they love our real one. I thought they were a little pricey at $3.00 a piece but I splurged. I think it will end up being the best $6.00 I ever spent.

fabulous scalloped, dotted dessert plates, I was thrilled about these. $.79 each

I think I found a pretty good costume but will have to wait until Clara gets home from 2nd grade to try it on.

First to comment, woo hoo!! I am so jealous of your Goodwill. Ours is old and smells. Don't get me wrong, I still try it's just that it hardly ever pulls through with some cool, unusual, fabulous find. Love the Easter basket!

Ditto to Melanie's comment. We share the same Goodwill :)

I love to see your finds. Sometime will you teach us how you organize everything?

I also had fun looking through your St. Patrick's Day link. What a creative genius you are.

Way CUTE plates! You have a gift for finding great dishes at thrift stores/garage sales!

You sure know how to shop the goodwill store! Great finds, as usual. I can't wait to see how the costume turns out.

I just found some great plates at my savers. I love it there. I don't go shopping anywhere else now. Can't wait to see the Clara Barton all dressed up.

Yes! Yes! Medical masks will do nicely...I'll wheel Melanie in and we'll finish playing the part....and maybe we'll be able to stay in there long enough to find those treasures you tell us about.

I love looking at others' shopping! Woo-hoo! I'm glad you've got the Clara costume sorted. That's a weight off your mind, I bet.

I need to start hitting our charity shops soon. Erin's having an Alice in Wonderland/Mad Hatter's Tea Party birthday in June and I thought it'd be good to fill the garden with loads of odd teapots - that I'll HOPEFULLY have bought for PENNIES at the charity shops!

The Easter basket is sooo cute!

You always find the best stuff at your Goodwill, those dishes and the decoration are so cool. I'm sure the girls will love the keyboards.

Um, can you come over?

I have to find Brynlee a "lady in waiting" costume, and I'm totally new to the thrift store shopping, and I'm scared! Too bad we can't meet in the middle (in Nebraska or something!) and you could show me the ropes. I am always stunned at the great things you find.

I am sooo envious of your finds! I could never find something like that here in Utah. Ours are the same like Melanie. I don't even bother. I love to score deals. I especially love the plates.

I REALLY need spring to be here. If I have to shovel anymore snow I am not going to be happy.

Love the GW finds!

They keyboards are brilliant - don't kids love to play with the real thing? At my Value Village they cost $3.99, so maybe you do have the best thrift store!
