I have seemed to enjoy cleaning out my supplies in my work room to make holiday cards. This month I came up with using brown and yellow, a color combination I can't seem to get enough of. I almost love coming up with the catchy good mail label more than I do the card. I used the bunny die cut from sizzix
chocolate brown felt
chocolate brown ribbon
scallop blade on my rotary paper cutter
yellow construction paper
font was Caesar Open
The paper was half a sheet, with a trimming off the top to give it a scallop edge. folded down from the top about 3". Bunny and ribbon placed in the center and then just sewed it across to attach.I guess since I have had my Christmas cards, ordered and printed and sitting on my shelf since January I am getting all the card making out of my system since I won't be making them this year.

As usual- I'm in awe of how amazing & creative you are!!
How all is well.
Take care, Kim
kristi, i have seen this popping up (or should i say hopping up!!) on the various blogs and i must say once again-- brilliant! too cute. your creativity is amazing.
love the GM label, too.
speaking of creativity, my blog has a request on it right now for ideas for teacher appreciation week and end of the year school parties (two separate requests). i would love to see/hear your suggestions.
(in the spirit of giving and not just taking, i have also included an end of the year gift for the kids idea)
Kristi, you are so talented! The Easter card is the cutest I have ever seen. Good job!
Such cute cards. They were so aesthetically pleasing it was almost (almost) as good as eating real chocolate!
I loved my card - it is so creative! But I so love the label on the card! Your creativity is killin' me! :-)
It's fun to see how the cute holiday cards you send are made. And love the labels.
And they were so dang cute. I love mine, it is still sitting happily right on my counter. :)
This is another genius idea of yours. It's cool that you can die cut through felt, who knew?
Those cards are beautifully formal and 'grown up', even the colours are really stylish. And I love the typeface (font-aholic, that I am!). Is it similar to my fave, Castellar? Am I turning into a typeface geek???
Kristi - really cute cards - very creative!
These are too cute! I love how you sewed the bunny on the card. You are the Queen of Creativeness!
So cute!
It was just the cutest thing. And please don't torture me by flaunting the fact that your Christmas cards for THIS year are already done!! Sheesh.
Every time you show us how to do something like this it makes me happy. I love it when others shar their talents!! Thanks!
I can only check your blog every other day- (or I will get a complex!) That is so cute! What fun ideas you have.
Kristi-
Will you please just gather all your great ideas for every holiday, event, tradition into a book so I can buy it? Also, when I finally get a craft room of my own can I fly you out here and help me set it up? It is my dream after 12 years of Marriage!(all of which were in school) I know you can relate. Thanks again for the great ideas and tips!
Kara
I found one of these in my mailbox on Tuesday!!! What a fun surprise! Once again, Mrs. KBC, you're amazing! Thank you!!!!!!!
I really liked your Easter cards you posted on your blog. Yellow and brown are two colors I wouldn't normally put together, but they look great! I guess I just need to try out different color combos, branch out a little. :)
