thank you for taking the time to note all of these wonderful places (and their wonderful websites, too!)
i was just thinking about your favorite pink and white string this morning, and wondering where i would find some in my little town!!
Oh wow. Very cool places and web sites. Thanks for sharing.
I have never heard about the endless summer collection, but I LOVE hydrangeas in any color and the more they bloom the better.
You are the ultimate resource. I love that string and need to check into getting some of that. Thanks!
I can't believe you posted about Tinsel Trading! I go there all the time but didn't realize it was Famous! It is actually in a part of the garment district that has tons of stores specializing in embellishments. It is crazy to see store after store packed from floor to ceiling with stuff.
Thanks for all the tips-- You are all things cool. I love hydrangeas, and will definitely check those out.
If your in Moab then goto Wabi Sabi:
http://www.wabisabimoab.org/
They have the coolest authentic Moab t-shirts ever! I got a tent there for $40, which was donated from the local river guides. Super awesome place to drop in for some sweet goods in the thrift category.
good to know. love the hydrangea comment.
Ooooo thanks for the great info! I am definitely checking out the tinsel place in NYC, next time I head down.
Kristi-- I came upon your blog and have really enjoyed it. I was raised in the South, transplanted to NY and have ended up in Utah. You are an inspiration to me and a great example of finding the joy in life, marriage and mothering. Thank you!
I heard about your blog from a very dear friend. We love pink too!!! She also introduced me to "good mail"! I love the idea!!
Digs is only 45 minutes from my house...I'll have to venture out there sometime! :) Thanks for the tip.
I've been in Raleigh for 5 years and had NO IDEA! Can't wait to check it out :) As always, thanks for the tips.
I can always count on you for the greatest finds! I love that you pass them along!
Love this post! Can't wait to go visit Tinsel Trading! My favorite shop down there is M&J Trimmings. Ribbons from floor to ceiling...what could be better?!
Thanks for sharing!
I always enjoy good web hookups. I am dying over that ribbon.
The interiors of those shops are gorgeous! And the ribbon picture, I could EAT!
I always appreciate pointers to good plants, and hydrangeas are fabby. We dry ours out and string them together into a garland, lightly spray with gold metallic paint (just a dusting!) and hang it up in the house for Christmas. It's a lovely-looking decoration, and all home-grown!
Ah... now I want to go to all of those places!
