today I will be driving from here to
here... (who knew D.C. had a district flag) then I will be flying to
here. getting on another plane so I can fly backwards to...
here and then get off the plane to drive to
here!

Maybe it is a blessing the air conditioning and fridge are not working so this crazy day flying alone with the girls may not seem so bad.

I was thinking next Pioneer day if you want to get a glimpse of Pioneer's life turn your air conditioning off for a week and don't use a fridge - it will be a lasting memory for your kids.
It is months like this when renting feels oh so good.

Have fun! (I hate that we are back in school already...it feels like we should still be vacationing too!)

Enjoy!

Living life as a Pioneer? Are you mad? Hahaha!

My husband's mum (she died long before I ever met her) brought up 3 boys in the 1970s with no freezer, just a little ice-box in her fridge. How did she manage?? I can't begin to imagine the restrictions!

Hope you have a lovely time. Those flags are so interesting too!

Hope your trip is fun with most of your family. I just sent Lisa and Ryan off of the plane today. Ryan was not a happy camper. I hope she survives the next trip to New Mexico later this week. She is a doll!

Kristy! I just wanted to say I'm loving living vicariously through your Europe travels, I'm so impressed you did this with your three beauties.

What? No air AND no fridge? That is crazy! Hope your fridge wasn't stocked full!
Enjoy this time! I have always traveled alone with my littles. I dress them the same when we travel - which is harder to do now with a 16 year old! HA!
Enjoy this time away!
Oh - so have loved your posts about your adventure! I am living through you and have marveled in all your photos and comments!

Love your creative mind. Your posts are so fun to read.

I loved to see all of the shops you went to and all of the fun finds.

I wish you well in your traveling alone with the kids. Have fun with your family!

The flags are very cool. I can only figure out the first two, since I know where you live, and the last one I'm guessing is NM?? ANyway, that sucks about the ac and fridge!!! Have fun on your trip!

I can't believe you're heading out for another trip, but I wish you good luck with the flying and a fun, relaxing time.

No air conditioning and no fridge?! I don't want my kids to have memories of me during a time like that, eek!

Kristi,
I hope the travels went well and the trip is good too.

Mostly, I hope the AC is working when you get home!

I found a round about way to be able to comment on blogs- I don't know whats wrong with my computer! But, I've been dying to tell you how much I look forward to your "reports" on your trip. I read each word, examine each photo, and so you know, I'm living vicariously through you on this trip! :) Look forward to hearing all about the trip you are on right now- good luck!

Hope you're having fun on your trip. I just wanted you to know you've now got me hooked on ritter chocolate. I was at Target tonight and saw one and remembered your comments about them. I just had to see for myself so I bought it. I'm now hooked! It's a bitter sweet discovery because now I will always want one when I go to Target. My waistline is going to pay the price. I can't believe how good they are! Wow!

You have been doing a lot of travel! I hope your flight went well, after all your girls are now experienced flyers.
