Lisa picked the winner based on the number of years she has been married which is 8 - and it is also the ages of her kids added together.
This was a little tricky because Ashley did not enter the contest but did comment, so counted 8 down from hers.
and this 8th person was Jill! her word is Love, so she will be soon getting a wonderful "my word" sterling sliver tag!
A HUGE thank you to Lisa Leonard who sponsored this giveaway. Her jewelry obviously inspired many people to enter an share some wonderful stories, struggles and joys. If you have a spare minute take some time to read some of the best comments ever. It is a reminder we all have struggles and trials - you may not read about them on our blogs but they are there - and we are strong women making goals to celebrate life and do our best!
Thank you and congrats Jill!

Congratulations Jill! I love Jill's blog I am glad she won. (I have asked for a necklace from my husband for Christmas-let's hope he took me seriously)
Thanks Lisa & Kristi!
Congrats to Jill - a beautiful word choice!
I couldn't think of a better recipient!

Congrats Jill! You TOTALLY deserve it.
Oh my goodness, I'm so excited and surprised. You got so many comments on this post that I didn't even entertain the possibility of winning...woohoo.
You've really inspired me with this concept. I have something for you over on my blog. It's right after the giveaway post. Congrats and thanks for promoting such a brilliant and motivating concept.
Yeah Jill!

YAHOO! I think that Jill should win! That is fantastic! Can't wait to see the finished product!
Yea, Jill! This was such a fun idea to do with your word for the year!
hey I can't think of a more deserving person than Jill since her word actually does a world good
Congrats, Jill!
This is so fabulous, Kristi. Somehow I missed your original post, even though I was looking for one about your word for the year... I just LOVE the idea of the beautiful necklace that you wear as a reminder of your word. And the thought of adding to it each year. I just might have to copy you and do it myself! Lovely, thank you for sharing this.
I purchased a necklace for myself, mine will have 4 charms; one with the monogram of Mike and I (married), then another charm for each of the kids, Braeden, Sam & Claire. I thought it would be a good way to keep the family together, right by my heart, while Claire and I are away for her bone marrow transplant. Thanks for sharing her designs and website
Debbie
