You could win a pair of these.

I love new artists and seeing their business start and I love to see people win things - so bringing the two together is awesome.
Baby Tidbitz is a brand new company that specializes in handmade, washable shoes for little ones. They are a deal at $19 and for a little more you can have one custom designed for your little one or a gift and she is giving away a free pair of shoes to one of you!!!
I gave the artist Lisa, a little interview so you could get to know her better.
Where does all your creative juices come from?
Well my mother is really creative. She sews, paints, draws, designs and anything else you can think of. She always encouraged me to learn to make things. She taught me how to sew even though at the time i didn't really pay much attention. Some how I remembered.

How old were you when you learned to walk?
When I learned how to walk I was about a year old. Not too unusual.

What are you favorite shoes you have designed?
My favorite pair of shoes that I have made are the Carla May's. I love swirls and bows so the combination really appeals to me. And I LOVE orange.

What are some of the comments you get when people see your little girl wearing your handmade shoes?
Anywhere we go Ryan(Lisa's daughter) always gets comments on how great her shoes are. They always ask where I got them and how they could get a pair. They always comment on how fun the style is and how comfortable they look.

Would you rather be in flip flops or tennis shoes?
As far as flip flops or tennis shoes I would say most often I prefer flip flops. I like my feet to be able to breathe and move a lot. I save the tennis shoes for running or other sports.

So if you want to win a pair of any shoes she has on her site in the size you need for your little one or a baby gift all you have to do is....

leave a comment and tell me if you could only wear one pair of shoes for the rest of the year what would they be.

Our shoe artist Lisa will pick a winner on Friday!
feel free to email Lisa (babytidbitz@gmail.com) with any shoe questions! She does take custom orders.

are these little shoes too small for your feet, her are some other ideas of how these shoes may fit you!
  • do you have a piece of fabric from your grandmother that could me made is some shoes to decorate a shadow box
  • do you have the handkerchief you used on your wedding day to make some shoes for your child on their special blessing/confirmation/baptism day
  • just can't think of throwing a special dress away that does not fit your little one any more have the fabric made into some shoes
  • don't have time to get a baby shower gift, go to the post office and have it sent, let Baby Tidbitz do all the work for you!

Flip flops! Well, they are called slippers here in Hawaii. And luckily I do get to wear them everyday of the year. I need to get some of these for my upcoming baby until he/she is old enough to keep slippers on! They are so darling.

My Rainbow flips. They are seriously the most comfortable flip flops. I'm partial to my brown ones but I love all 6 pairs that I have.

So, are these little baby shoes not the cutest?!? I know just who I'll give them to if I win this great giveaway.

Thanks Kristi for introducing us to new, creative people.

I love my Croc flip flops. I think they're called "athens". I have worn them almost everyday since I bought my 1st pair almost a year and a half ago.
Those little baby shoes are the cutest. My little one would (5months) would look so cute in them. I'm not one for real shoes for my baby because they seem to hard and don't let their feet move. I love these as an alternative.

I would have to say Crocs. I just had surgery on my right foot and so far, the Crocs are the only thing that works. And it is ongoing -- I'm having surgery on the left foot once the right one heals up. Love those Crocs!

Hands down my Reef flip flops. I probably WILL wear them for the rest of the year anyway (I live in Vegas, baby) except for church on Sunday...if only it were allowed!

Cute shoes! I would have to say I'd wear flip flops or as I call them "thongs" year round. They're so easy to slip on! Luckily our weather permits lots of thongs wearing.

I would have to say my Nike flip flops. They are brown and prob the most comfortable shoes I own!! I wish I had gotten another pair when I bought these!!

I would wear Keens. They are so comfortable and versatile. I have 3 pairs of them, my husband has 2 and all three of my kids have at least one pair. (I love the tiny kids ones!!)

Adorable shoes! So creative.

I would definitely have to say Chacos. I have really high arches and narrow feet and they are the most comfortable and I also love that my feet have the freedom to breathe and my toes don't get all cramped.

My good ol' Old Navy flip flops. I love my brown ones. They are easy to put on/off and I don't mind wearing them most anywhere.

Well I do love shoes so narrowing it down to one pick is hard to do. I think I might go with my steve madden sandals. They are red, but still they seem to go with everything. They can be dressy and still very casual. Such versatility! I love it.

I would have to wear my earth sandals. The most comfortable, and the best support.

I would wear a pair of black flip flops- can dress them up or down and everywhere in between!

Natasha said...

My Mary Jane Crocs for sure! I would say my flip flops, but if I have to wear them for the rst of the year, I better say crocs because at least I could wear socks with them!

ok- so those shoes are just too precious, I have to leave a comment just by chance to win them for Scarlett! Let's see if I could only wear one pair this year...i would have to go with my patent leather black ballet flats I picked up at the nordstrom sale...they seem to work with most everything and are very comfy! Cute, cute shoes (that is the baby shoes :)).

I would wear flip flops the rest of my life!!! I love them. The baby shoes are so cute! Hope I win some for my baby coming next year!!!

I would wear these sandals my mom had when she was in college. I discovered them in high school and have been wearing them ever since (except the 18 months on my mission when Julia confiscated them). They are wedges with straps around the ankle. They are cute and girly but so comfortable. Unfortunately, it is going to SNOW soon!

Hope I win!

It's getting cold here, so I have to pick a close-toed number. I think I'll go with my dansko's- orthopedist approved comfort, and a fun little clog.

And those are the cutest baby shoes I've seen in a while! Love-loving them.

This is an easy peasy (I love this phrase)answer-my Ugg knock off Cosco slipper boots, which I absolutely see as actual shoes. I could wear them anywhere and everywhere, forever and ever!

What a talented artist and such an interesting and fun way to show her craft. Thanks for sharing this with us!

It used to be my Birkenstocks, but now I will have to say my Reef flip-flops, my step-sis got me into them a few years ago and just love, love them! (I too, know the shoemaker- she's my sis-in-law!)

You know I'm in on the contest having my first little girl!! FLIP FLOPS....hands down! Super cute shoes!

Those are cute- I love all the ideas on fabric and and having them made into shoes.

If I had to wear shoes...since I am a barefoot girl all the way...I would say some cozy slippers because it would mean I am relaxing and probably have a mug of something hot in my hand.

Kristin said...

sadly, it gets too cold here in New Jersey to wear my Reef flip flops all year long. So I would have to switch up to my Ugg slippers for those chilly winter months!

Love the baby shoes! Perfect for our little bun in the oven :)

Ann said...

Definitely my cozy, fuzzy pink slippers. They are what I imagine walking on clouds would be.

Laura B. said...

Have you seen the Fuzzy Crocs for grown-ups? I've pre-ordered my own pink pair and plan on wearing them non-stop until it's warm again.

So, can I try to win even though I just found your blog by blog-hopping? I would probably wear comfortable running shoes, because you can do anything in running shoes (except go to church I guess...) I absolutely in love with these baby shoes!

I would wear Sketchers "bikers", they're comfy and can go with almost anything.

Shoes! I love shoes!!!! Here in he tropics.. it is flip flops almost year round. I have flip flops in every style and color. At times, crave wearing winter boots, which I get to do only if I travel north in the winter.
These are the sweetest slippers. I have so many little girls in my life who would love these!

One pair of shoes is too hard! Flip flops until the snow hits, then my UGG boots till the snow melts!
Love those baby shoes--I am due with a little girl Nov. 30th and would love to win a girly-girl pair!!

Jinii said...

I would wear my metallic flats. They are dressy enough to wear to work and they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn!

Missy said...

I would say something totally chic and glamorous. But, that wouldn't be truthful. Probably sandals. I love sandals.

I would probably want to wear "Big Girl Tidbitz" for the rest of my life. Do they come in "Big Girl" sizes? They look light enough to feel like you aren't wearing anything and YET your feet are still covered. Awesome! Now I just need a little girl...

Anonymous said...

My black sketcherz that look like a dress shoe but are really a tennis shoe. :) I'll never kill my arches and toes in 3 inch heels again!

Anonymous said...

Flip flops for sure. I own 23 pairs. I don't need anything else!! :) Although a new pair of cute little ones could add to my collection for a new baby when we adopt!! Sooo cute!!

Julia said...

I'm with Andie on this one, I love my JCrew flip flops, but I would have to say stilettos, and if I had to narrow it down to one pair, It would be the 3.5" Alligator leather with pointy toes-- perfect for fall.

I always think it is more fun to borrow clothes and shoes from other people. My sister in law has these cute retroish Roos sneakers. I borrow them whenever I got up to visit her. They are really comfy because she wears about a half size bigger than I do. I should start buying my own shoes bigger I guess!

Rebecca said...

forever...that is an awful big commitment. I guess I would have to say some brown sketcher type slip ons that I wear all fall and winter. They are comfy and easy to get on and off and match almost everything I own.
