finally catching up on good mail sending. It feels good to finally get some birthday mail out, I have been sending out good mail to July Birthday's this month, oh my I am so behind
I went to a different post office than my neighborhood one. The post man was AWESOME. The gals at my local store are not as amused by me sending all my mail in used food and cereal boxes, but my new guy was laughing so hard. I love a good friendly post man.

Good for you Kristi!
That is so funny! I just sent out some birthday goodmail last week. I wrapped it in scrapbook paper and had fun stickers on it. My postlady loved it! We used different stamps and she helped me figure out how many different stamps we could get on them. She even went to the back and brought out this cool folder with all these diff denom stamps.
Lucky there was not a line behind me. haha
Kristi, I just wanted to let you know that I got my birthday package. You are so totally awesome! Thanks for thinking of me.
That's pretty cool that you're still working on birthday good mail, there's no doubt that the recipients will love it! Plus your clever packaging always brings a smile.
i have been playing catch up from my summer blogout so i know what you mean about sending out summer bday goodmail. i wonder if i will ever catch up? i have found that bday gifts are welcome any day of the year, 3 months "late" or 2 weeks early...that is the great thing!
i love the creative boxes. my PO is hit or miss. a few good people, more cranky people working
I love the post office by my house. I know many of the people there by name and they comment on my Good Mail labels, are sweet to my kids, etc. The post office by my work, not so much. But it is easy for me to zip in that post office with no kids!
Your packaging is so original. I for one loved my M&M package! I'll be posting about it soon.
p.s. there is one guy at my post office who always comments on my good mail labels! He was quite taken with them, wanted to know where I got them, etc.
Love the cereal boxes. And I love nice postal workers. And I'm still working on some VERY behind good mail. Better late than never is the motto I had to adopt!
I love this idea of Good Mail. You have inspired me. My little sister is going through a hard time and I just sent her a little thing in the mail. I see her almost everyday but there is something about someone taking the time to mail you something that makes you feel so good. Thanks for the inspiration.
It is cool to look at this picture and know that one of those boxes is sitting upstairs right now! You are smart to write b-day girl on there because now I am totally waiting to open it. And I for one love the recycled box idea.
