The last of the Christmas gifts were revealed tonight. A very generous, (beyond generous) family had custom made jerseys made for the boys basketball team for our congregation downtown.
They are amazing, look professional and have each boys name on them. Many of these boys have never played on any team before let alone have their name on a jersey! Their first game is on Saturday and it will be so exciting for them!! Jeff showed the boys tonight at young men's their shirts and they went bezerk. They didn't even know they were getting jersey's let alone with their names on them. They all tried them on and were taking photos. Since they have started the basketball program they have had 18 boys coming to practice.their coach is a previous BYU player so they are set. It will be just a great year for them.
I am just amazed at the goodness that has been given to our ward this Christmas.
Again a million thank you's to all that made it so special.

That is so awesome! My husband is dying to know who the "former BYU basketball player" is. He's guessing Timo, is he right? What a great time those boys are going to have! Christmas miracles continue!
Kristi~ wow this is so cool. My sixteen year old is amazed & stunned that you have 18 players! Fabulous- way to go donor whoever you are!!
To have your own name on your shirt is such motivation. It will be interesting to hear how they fare this year/season (I'm in the dark with basketball. Not a sport I know at all).
Wow! That is so super nice!!
Good luck to the team this year!
I can imagine how excited the boys must be to have such fantastic jerseys with their names on them (who wouldn't be excited about that?). What a generous gift!
What a fun surprise for those boys!

I wish I could have seen their faces when Jeff showed them their jerseys. I'm sure it was priceless! Go team!
