My two year old loves the color yellow. I mean loves, loves! Anything that is yellow is instantly hers. If she had a blog it would be called Everything Yellow. This is her favorite hat. I bought it one day at J.Crew when she tried it on and claimed it as her own. It was a good thing it was super cheap and is an adult size so it will fit her the rest of her life.
That is so fun! Today Evie had two friends over and they were playing Pretty Pretty Princess. Evie and one of the girls were fighting fighting fighting over all the pink prizes and the third girl won the game because her favorite color is yellow and she snapped up the whole set of yellow jewels required to win the game. Then when I gave them fruit snacks she gasped with glee everytime she pulled out a yellow one.
Now all you have to do it keep track of that yellow hat until she is an adult. So funny, I love thinking of her 'claiming it as her own'. She is really growing up!
What a cutie! Each of my kids has their own color too. When they have similar stuff whether it's a toy or water bottle, I can just put a dot of their color on it and we all know whose is whose. Very handy! :)
I didn't recognize Sally Jane in that first picture, weird. I love it that she knows what she loves and think the idea of her future blog being called Everything Yellow is hilarious!
I totaaly relate to your daughter. I to have a lifelong love obsession with yellow. The doctor didn't believe my mom a young child could have a color prefernce and proceeded to let me pick suckers until he realized I only picked yellow ones.

Eeek, how cute. She is lovely in it. Yellow is a fun color, glad she loves it, it looks awful on me.
