And the winner is!!!
from the Whateverz owner, Natalie...
................................
Wow, this is a lot harder than I thought! I can relate to so many of these wonderful ladies and how they cherish their girlfriends, sisters and Mothers! We can all learn a lot from the kindness these ladies all possess!
The comment I felt most inspired by was from Anita K. She wrote about her friend Alice that was there for her when her father passed away. My Dad was recently diagnosed with Leukemia and it's the kindness of true friends that has helped me and my family through this rough time. In tough situations like an illness or death, you find out who your real friends are! Taking the time to pick up the phone really means a lot to a hurting heart!
I love that Alice welcomed and made Anita's Mom feel at home in her house, so much that her Mom feel asleep on the couch- isn't that wonderful? Alice sounds like a true friend that we all need!
................................

I have to say that the comments from this contest were some of my favorite ever. I am so humbled and amazed by the incredible joy that can come in one's life from a woman's touch. If you have a peaceful moment take a minute to read them.

If you want to treat yourself or a dear friend to a personalized gift take a stroll into Natalie's store at Whateverz.com
congrats Anita. email Natalie to claim your prize for you and your friend at nfredericks@cox.net

I didn't even comment on that post because I was going to think about it and come back to it, but then forgot. I'll have to read those great comments.

Thank you so much - I am so excited. I called Alice after 10:00 pm to tell her I had won something on a blog and she had too. She was near tears when I read to her what I wrote. Thank you for picking me and letting me honor her!

What is this? What am I missing? Oops, late as ever...

I must backtrack and read the comments, Kristi, if you really feel this is your favourite contest so far.

'If you have a peaceful moment'. That's funny, Kristi. Unfortunately, I can't read while I'm asleep. Ho hum.
