Today was Caroline's last day of preschool - which of course ended in tears and being overwhelmed from the last day program. She only punched me in the gut once though - that is progress!
I love, love giving end of the year gifts to teachers. Luckily Caroline and her best friend from church are in the same class and it was easy to go in on a gift together. I put a photo of each of the girls on the gift - something I have never done before. I think I will do photos for Annie Kate's gumballs this year.
and a great year!
I found this photo of Annie Kate taken 5 years ago in the same dress and shoes...

I love red shoes on little girls!!
Can't wait to see your gumballs from Annie Kate!

Oooooh, torture! What's inside all the wrapping??! Love the photo tag, by the way.
How did those shoes last for 5 years? That's miraculous. Erin trashes her shoes within one year.
Love Caroline's cheeky smile in that picture too.
very cute! My Caroline's last day of preschool is next Friday, then she'll be a Kindergarten! My oldest dd had that same backpack when she started Kindergarten!
I love the idea of putting a photo on the gift tag like that. Did you print it at home or just have it on hand? That's a great idea.
It's so cute that you have pictures of the girls in the same shoes and dress.
YEA for Caroline! She looks precious! I would love to know what you gave for the end of the year gift. I love the picture on the tag.
today was our last day of preschool too. there was crying but it was by me. when do they grow up so quickly?
love the beautifully wrapped gifts, and the little pics of the girls - darling!
Man, I've got to get me some of that ribbon!!! It's delicious! And you've got to love resilent clothes that make it to the next sibling!!! Way cute!
Love the picture tag idea! I'll have to file that one away!
I love the photo gift tag! I also really love taking out *old favorites* to pass down to my next little girl.
I have a thing with my girls wearing the same clothes years apart too. Your are so talented, I love your ideas.
I read sparatically. Dont want to be a lurker! Come see me anytime.
when I print pictures and have extras, I put them in my wrapping and make tags for family gifts. grandmothers love that! I cut them in circles one year and made christmas ornament balls for gift tags. my mom's was hanging on her tree this year.
I just had to pop in and say 'hi!' I've read your blog here and there and you definitely have inspired me. I cried when I read about your marathon! Just now I was reading about complimenting a stranger & thought I should tell you how much I appreciate your candor and thoughtfulness. Keep sharing your delightful life, I love to read about it :)
So cute!!
I have to say (no pressure) but I am really enjoying this everyday posting you are doing!! so impressive-
and great for a gal who has no life like me :)
I enjoy reading your blog so very, very much- you are an inspiration!!!!!!!!
also, my girls all wore the same sweater in their kindergarten school pictures. I love that your two had the same dress on at preschool graduation!!
Tiago's last day of preschool was yesterday and they had a little graduation party. I'm surprised that I actually didn't cry for the first time.
BTW- I love the photo gift tags! You never cease to amaze me!
they are wrapped so cute. and the picture tag is a great idea! what fun. i bet the teacher LOVED it.
Caroline and Annie Kate look so much alike at that age. Such a cute outfit!!
The photo gift tag is genius. I wish I had someone to see wearing Eva's clothes in the future! So sweet.
That's fun that you have a picture of your girls at the same time in the same dress. You need to save the dress and shoes for your youngest. There are 5 girls in my family and we all had our preschool picture taken wearing the same dress and now my mom displays those pictures.
Cutest red shoes ever. I'm on a search for a new great red Boo sized pair myself.
I loved your blog about complimenting a strangeer and am happy to say it was able to do it and felt so great, but not as good as the person I complimented.
I want to compliment you on your blogging and think you are so great and was happy to meet you a the blogger party in Utah.
I have 3 girls from 16 down to 7 and we have many picutes of them at the same age with the same dress and shoes. I'm amazed how well they hold up!
