Farewell old friends.When Jeff and I were engaged we won these 3 pots from Dillards because we were on a wedding registry. I have had the for 14 years. I am sure that I have been eating Teflon for about 4 years because it is all scraped off. They are pretty lame pots and I have known for awhile that I should probably get some new ones, but just could not stomach the price of new ones.
Then the other day I was making the typical back of the isle swoop that so many of us make at Target (in case you don't know the end of isle's is where all the great deals are) And I saw this sticker. (another new thing I learned see the 75 on the top right corner that represents the percentage off of the price)
It was for an entire set of these!! Woo Hoo!! 8 new pans, pots and skillets. I was jumping up and down, seriously. They had like 5 sets and if they were not so heavy I would have shipped them for wedding gifts.So, I now have no more excuses of ruining dinner. Wee hee I love a good deal and it was worth the 14 year wait.

I always do the back of the aisle sweep. Usually I just end up buying $50 of stuff I don't need, but it's so fun! That is an amazing deal. You will love those pots.

You will love calphalon! I got some as wedding presents, and still have them. I wouldn't cook with anything else! I scorched a pot roast like you wouldn't believe when I was first learning how to cook on a gas stove, and it cleaned out of the pot like a breeze!

Great deal! I have this set and it's great. I went from no teflon (husband has problems with even the concept of eating it - even though I'd eaten it for years too :)) to this. Just be careful of the handles - I burned my hand pretty nicely not realizing they got hot (even the lids - did it again...an oh, duh moment if ever there was one)
