Thanksgiving in Spain - day 4 (part one)
Day four and we were still adjusting to being totally off schedule. Spain in the winter is so different than in the summer. It is quiet and there are no partying in the streets until midnight. So when we slept in we were missing valuable sunlight (as it got dark around 6:30 pm)
the water was cold but the sand was fun and it was probably the warmest day we had on the beach.Day four and we were still adjusting to being totally off schedule. I loved seeing these mossy rocks, because it reminded me of one of our favorite beaches in Portugal.
I still was in shock that we actually made it and loved seeing Jeff and his dad on the beach chatting -
So after beach side morning, poolside afternoon and a yummy lunch from our great groceries we went back to change for our first sightseeing trip- we were off for Mijas which was only 45 min from Marbella....

What an awesome way to celebrate turning 11!
Your pictures look so great, I love the writing in the sand with the shells for a heart...too clever!
I LOVE Spain and love the writing in the sand. I spent a week in Torremolinos and explored everywhere ~ even Morocco!
Seriously a great way to spend a birthday!! The girls all look so cute and I am in love with Caroline's ruffly skirt. I had forgotten that Jeff's parents were there with you -- so cool!
