This morning when I opened the door this is what we saw. And this is our covered deck. The front door was even higher, but I forgot to take a photo before we shoveled it.

Sally Jane can't really even play outside because she can't walk anywhere. I dug a hole to take a photo of her standing on the grass. This would be the perfect time out spot, because she can't go anywhere!
It is fun living next to a Fox News camera guy because he is always looking for footage for the news. So we are likely looking at a week of no school and our second Sunday of no church and they announced no mail will be delivered today. Just hope we don't lose power again! What a great winter to have as our last East Coast Winter. Record Breaking snow!

So Jealous!

I am so jealous-- We live just a tiny bit to the north, and we don't have any snow at all. We have probably had a total of 8 inches total this winter. This has definitely been a weak East Coast winter for us.

Isn't it fun! We are in VA and LOVING the snow!

Wow, that is a seriously insane amount of snow!! How fun to have church and school canceled though, but I'd be a little bummed out about no mail delivery.

We've hardly had any substantial snow this year, it's been disappointing really.

Have fun! Mark is so sad that we don't live where it snows :(

I love the wild crazy storms of winter. They force you to get cozy and snuggle down with the family.

how fun to just hunker down and hang out as a family with NO real obligations. we get plenty of snow, but nothing that ever shuts down the city. darnit! have so much fun!

WOW! What a great visual of all that 'winter storm' that you received. I think that it is hilarious that you live next to a FOX news guy. I would be pitching stories all the time! A documentary of some sorts!

I only wish that our big snows would cancel school and church! A nice holiday for you guys. I am loving all of these snow photos, you are unbelievably photogenic, Kristi!
