$60.00 nook!

It has been kind of crazy how all the elements of our house have come together. All of our decor and furniture was thrifted before we moved.

I love sitting back with Jeff and adding how much corner did not cost us!

Here is my $60.00 nook!
  • Buffet that we painted white - Goodwill $25.00
  • Fake Van Gogh in frame - Goodwill $4.99
  • Lamp - Tina's Consignment $15.00
  • Mirror with gold trim - Tina's Consignment $3.99
  • Cake Stands - Costco - $15.00
I went to Home Goods yesterday and had a hard time buying anything. My mind kept saying, "$40.00, I can find this for $5.00" Wow real stuff is expensive and I was at Home Goods!

What is your best thrifted item?

I LOVE your buffet! I've been looking for one for years here in utah to paint white but the ones I find are either way to expensive or gone. It seems like everyone is into thrifting and DIY here. Your nook is just dreamy!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come shop for me! I've been looking for a buffet for 2 months now and have almost decided to just go to a real store instead of re-doing it myself. *shriek*
Your couch deal is the best I've ever seen. You are my hero!

I love that buffet! Jealous. And I can't believe those cake stands were at Costco! You are the master.

I've been looking for a tiny dresser to use as a nightstand and a bookshelf for Eva's room and have come up totally empty.
