Today was my second time visiting the National Cathedral and I love it even more the second time. I was thrilled to add one more photo to "Me in D.C." gallery.
We will remember this as being the first place that Caroline decided to use the potty. It is like something just clicked with her. She will be able to say she potty trained her self at the National Cathedral.
I know my list of "must sees in D.C." is long but I need to add this too. Don't miss it. They will open the parking garage in 2 weeks so it will make it much easier to visit!
David and Lanessa November 2006I know my list of "must sees in D.C." is long but I need to add this too. Don't miss it. They will open the parking garage in 2 weeks so it will make it much easier to visit!
We got some great photos.

ReplyDeleteI love seeing the site in DC. We use to live in Maine, but we never took a trip to Washington. I was only there once with the youth or a temple trip (pre-Boston temple). Thanks for sharing your blog and showing me around.

ReplyDeleteI love visiting cathedrals. One of my favorite parts of traveling. I will be sure not to miss that one when we get out there.
ReplyDeleteHow weird. I was looking at those pics and thinking, 'That is SUCH a clean-looking exterior!', so I Wikipedia'ed it and found out the foundation stone was laid as recently as 1907 and the last stone was laid in 1990. I forget what a 'young' country the USA is.
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious that Caroline started her potty training there. Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase 'Holy Water'. LOL.
Hi Kristie! I found your blog through Laura B. and I'm addicted. I especially love your traditions tabs. (I know Dave and Lanessa and the Trammels, too, small world.) Great pics of the Cathedral--that is one of my favorite places in DC. I love the Prodigal Son statue there.
