Wondering?

So what do you do when you find a really great deal on something that you know all your friends would want to know about.
like finding darling hats for just $1.00
then you come up with the idea to sew some polka dot ribbon on them
and you know these would make great mail and birthday gifts because they would fold up nice and flat in an envelope

but if you tell all your friends you found them at the dollar store and they go buy them, then it may not be as fun to get them in the mail.

but you feel so happy finding a great deal, you just want to shout it from the roof tops so your friends can feel that same kind of joy and have cheap, darling gifts to give to their friends.
so I am torn - what do I do?

  3. LOVE them!! You tell your friends WHAT Dollar Store and give them to your non-blogging friends as gifts who don't know where you got them! ;)

And you could even send them to your blogging friends who you know do not have the availability or desire to make some themselves.

(And no, that is not a hint.)

  20. carlo - seriously one of my biggest temptations is to go back to doing a cottage business and selling my wares - someday, i promise someday, but i just have to make it the right time - the stars must align....

  29. Kristi, I'm SURE ppl would go mad for those little hats here. Look at the boden.co.uk website. They have children's beach hats for £14 - that's $27.50. And they're not a patch on your creations.

And have you seen Oilily clothing? See oilily-world.com, and look at their Anouk hats. I've seen them listed at 34 Euros, which is about $45. I cringe to think of the ppl who might pay that, when you've proved you can get the same cuteness for a dollar and a bit!

    Well done. Brilliant work!
