I am really not sure how I am going keep my heart from talking on my blog.
This week has been like no other.
Our life feels different.
Things that used to bother me are as if they are gone.
My heart is mush.
Our home feels like peace in a box.
I have fallen in love with Jeff all over again.
I cry every day.
He is so tired.
Sally Jane asked me today if Dad is going to have to wear a suit everyday for the rest of his life.
We have felt the love of so many.
I wish I would have done more for my past Bishops.
I wish I would have reached out more to his kids and wife.
I know Heavenly Father loves us so much
I know Jeff has been prepared for this time
I know I don't want to do, watch, listen or say anything that would take away from this feeling in our home.
I am humbled.
"When the time to perform has come the time to prepare has past"

ReplyDeleteBeautiful thoughts! I know for us, we are mindful and prayerful for our bishop and his family. We try to send a note of appreciation once a year. It is a HUGE sacrifice for all - but what wonderful blessings!
ReplyDeleteThis will be one of the hardest and most rewarding times of your life! I hope that you keep a journal to read in the future of these tender thoughts and feelings.
ps - I want PEACE IN A BOX...!
