Sold!
Today we sold our home. We really consider this our first home. (the condo on the tracks is a blur in our memory) It now seems so real that we are moving. We have loved this home and our neighbors. It is a bit dreamy.
We had a incredibly, wonderful experience with our realtor. We did NOTHING! We felt no stress or anxiety once we put it on the market. She truly did her job. She knows our neighborhood so well and we are conviced it is why we sold our home fast and made our profit.
If any of you locals want her info here it is.
So, we will rent the home back from the owners until the middle of June when we move to Washington D.C.

I'm sure it's bitter/sweet to be leaving there. It seems like an idealic place to live from what you've said and from all the pictures I've seen in your galleries.

What a blessing that it sold so quickly and that you made money on it. This is a huge phase of your life that's ending, but how exciting to move on to the next phase as well.

When will you tell us the details of your new place?

Congrats! I know I will feel similarly about leaving here when we do. Can't wait to hear about your MD place. I wish I could see the look on the new owners faces when they realize you left those gorgeous flower boxes full for them!

Congratulations on the sale of your house. I love all the sweet memories that you listed. Your picture didn't load for me and I was looking forward to seeing what a darling home you had. Good luck with the move and the packing.

how great for you. it is always a load off when the burden of a house sells when you need it to. it is a sad thing to walk away from because of all the time and memories there, but at least it will still be in tack. Our last house we are bulldozing down in a few weeks.
