Blog Party!
Well, the first annual blog party was a total success! A great time was had by all.
It was so great to see Jill, her home and her family. When we pulled up seeing Landon and Whitney was like meeting someone famous, because I have seen so many photos of them and know so much about them. (thanks W. and L. for being so great to my kids they had a great time)
Seeing Michelle was so great too. (she was my freshman roomate) I always loved her laugh and it was just as I had remembered.
Meeting everyone else was so great. Everyone brought a gift to exchange that represented them. It was an awesome activity and fun to see a piece of everyone wrapped up in ribbon. I got Jessie's. It had three books in it, awesome grosgrain ribbon, buttons, jello and popcorn, darling acrylic bowl and a photo of her cat. wait a framed photo of her cat. I actually quite like it even though it is inside out. hee hee.

The food was yummy. I was so hungry, we had driven up from St. George and had only eaten car food. So I felt like I could have had three plates of food. Thanks Hannah for the mini noodle salad.

The bounce dryer sheets helped the bugs stay away for awhile. Ask Jill!

I can't wait for next year! How about an overnighter? photos of the night.

I'm game for an overnighter next year, that would be fun.

Also, Amie just posted a whole thing about the beauties of Bounce dryer sheets for repelling bugs and other creatures, so I'm not crazy.

I felt the same way about meeting your kids, like they were celebrities I was already familiar with. Very fun.

So great to see you again, too. I love the way you described seeing Jill's kids. Just how I felt about seeing yours -- not like meeting them for the first time, more like seeing them in the flesh the way I've imagined them through the photos and stories on your blog. Loved the whole thing.

I'm glad you're not too horrified by my cat :) SO glad to see you and can't wait for the towels! I am still thinking about colors...
