Birthday cake?
. . . . . . .

Last night we spent at the Washingtonian Center (thanks emily for the tip) and took tons of photos feeding the ducks and eating at Joe's Crab Shack. It was $.99 for kids and we got to eat right on the water outside. The weather was awesome! Finally.
But I had to share how they served kids their ice cream and thought it would be a great idea for a substitute for a kids birthday party for cake.
It was a ice cream sandwich cut in quarters and then 4 little cups full of sprinkles, choc. sauce, caramel and one with crushed candy bar. The kids loved it. You can get these little cups at Sams Club or I am sure any restaurant would give you a bunch for a party.

Photos of our night! Caroline ate for the first time since Saturday morning so we were thrilled.

That looks so messy and fun and delicious! What a great idea for the restaurant to break away from the normal cake and icecream.

Such a great idea! Miriam always wants to have "tea parties" the ice cream would make a fun one! I love Sally's curls, with my hair, I always have curl envy.

I love it! Who wouldn't enjoy all those tiny cups with delicious dippers? Great photo of the sprinkle-covered hand.
