Is this really my life?
this week I have said to myself often, "is this my life?" We live in such an amazing neighborhood and I want to never have any regrets that I didn't soak it all in. This past week AK has been doing a craft camp at Michaels craft store. So in the mornings we walk down to the craft store. Today worked best having AK use her scooter.

We drop AK off and one morning I went walking around the lakes then sat at starbucks and had a yummy tangerine slushy, another day I met up with another mom and walked to the park with my girls and her twins, today i walked to the post office and sent off some good mail, oh this one was good!

then realized we had lost SJ's soupie and backtracked to find it.

then found CB's new shoe lying in the road. Oh Jeff would have freaked if we would have lost that.

We then picked up AK and walked across the street to see the movie Cars.

Then after the movie went outside and had lunch on the corner diner outside.

It is so dreamy being able to walk everywhere. We love it.

You have such a great neighborhood. I love that you are taking full advantage. Your afternoon sounds absolutely HEAVENLY. I am sooo jealous. I cannot believe you have all that within walking distance.

Glad you found the soupie and the shoe.

Kentlands is great! I'm so glad that you are having a great time in Maryland. We'll be down on Saturday.
Annie wants to see AK and her new Heelys! And yes, I haven't started blogging---YET. Soon.

I would love to be able to walk to everything, especially the post office and the craft store! You're living a charmed life in that awesome neighborhood. Is Annie Kate settling in any better?

Okay, what's the name of your town? I'm moving it up on our list of places to live. How delightful!

Kristi,
You are living a charmed live for sure! If I could walk to Michael's or Joann's, I'd be in BIG trouble.

Love the photos. Please tell Annie Kate that Riley says hello. I will post a new pic of him soon. He's so big now!

I think a girl could really get use to that kind of ease in shopping :)

How fun for you!

I love that you have all this great shopping within walking distance. We live within walking distance of our little town center too, but we don't have a Michael's. We have the rich boutique type stores that I can only really window shop in. It is nice to be able to walk though!

Kristi- sounds like you have hit the jackpot and may never want to leave. It is so nice to walk...that is if your kids like the stroller! We had that to some extent in our old neighborhood, now we are so hilly it is definitely a workout to get anywhere! Heather

It all sounds so charming, Kristi! How I would love being able to walk everywhere. It reminds me of when we lived in Paris, only without that pesky language barrier, and with Michael's and other places that are actually affordable! What a dream. I'm glad you are taking full advantage. It sounds like you are adjusting to your new life quite well.
