One of the best goodwill purchases I have ever made was this pitcher and bowl for $7.00. The handle is cracked and glued back on, but I love it. I usually always have flowers in it. One of my goals is to become good at floral arranging, so I try to always have something in this to experiment with. Right now it has my neighbors hydrangea that are all dried up. (to answer Liz' question from forever ago, I do ask my neighbors before I cut their plants, even if they are dead) acorns that I collected at Deep Creek Lake and red berries. I do have a bud from a Magnolia, but can't find any more so I will just throw that away. But it feels very fall to me.

I love the acorns in the bottom! That is quite the thrift store find- I hope you post what you do with it throughout the seasons.
I love all the hydrangeas that grow out East. Those don't grow here so we have to settle for fake ones if we want any. Your arrangement is beautiful, I love having flowers at home.
those are my favorite flowers...in pastel colors! looks good! Great goal to have, I think I am in the same boat with yoU!
I love the pitcher and bowl! So great to be able to put something in the pitcher and then scatter something around the base as well. you scored on that one.
I miss real hydrangeas here in Utah!
I love it! I have a neighbor with an actual magnolia tree, it was so pretty. I'm already thinking about asking her for some cuttings. THanks for the idea!
