Today I took Annie Kate to the dentist to get her oversized, undergrown in teeth cleaned. No offense Cutlers, but I think she had Cutler teeth. I knew Jeff should have gone to Dental school. Anyway since my two youngsters ones are too crazy to sit in an office we walked out front during the appointment. As we got ready to go in the office I put my sweet Sally Jane (this will no longer be her nickname after today) on my hip with her head being level to my chest, to go back inside. She got so mad because she didn't want to go inside the office that she reached down and bit the first thing she could see, being my left breast. She bit it teeth to teeth and drew blood. I thought I was going to fall on the floor and start crying. I calmly paid my co-pay and calmly waked back to the car with the girls and then sat there in teary pain. I said to SJ, you have to say sorry to mommy and in her sweet voice said, "Saucy" with those big batting eyes and curly locks looking my way. Nice try SJ, it didn't work you are still busted!

I still have a scar from Ellie. Luckily she only liked to bite me so I just had to endure pain not the mortification of her biting someone else.
Ouch! And I thought that was only a possibility while nursing! It's a good thing they're so cute, right?
Oh my. You sound so patient. I'll be honest, I would have had a very hard time restraining myself if Kaitlin did that. I probably wouldn't have hit her, but I definitely would have been pulling her hair to get her off me.
Ouch! That would hurt so badly. I'm impressed you handled it so well and calmly went about your business. I would have wanted to bite her back. Ha.
Ouch, ouch, ouch! I cringe even thinking about it. And in public even worse (where you just wanted to cry or yell out).
oh my goodness that is too funny! She really didn't want to go back in there did she? SJ little colors are starting to shine through. Your brave! OUCH!
you are a great mom! i don't think i would have been able to calmly say that you need to tell mommy you're sorry. i'm afraid i would have been a little more stern than that. that is one thing that hurts like no other!
Oh my! I guess S.J. was exerting some power that you didn't realize she had -- much pain, I am sure!!! She still is a cutie, but I guess you have to be very much aware of what she does or does not want to do.......... What can one say but OUCH!!
