who doesn't love...
let me just ask this one question , "who doesn't love IKEA?" Is this not just the greatest store?
today Jeff and I (yes he didn't have to go in Monday too, my life is too good.)
We went to go shopping at the commissary, but got there and realized it was closed. We were already downtown so we headed for IKEA.
10 things I love about IKEA
1. the kids play area in the front (too bad my kids are too young, motivation to potty train them)
2. the show room
3. the price
4. the great shoe storage system we bought
5. that there is a place for the kids to play and jump in balls in almost any department
6. stopping for a bite to eat in the restaurant and a place for the kids to play while you eat
7. that sell fabric on the bolt
8. i always think of Stacy and wonder what she would be doing with these cool gadgets
9. i finally have one in my state
10. that Jeff loves it too. The only two stores he really enjoys is Costco and Ikea.

We are looking into getting AK a new bed and found the one my friend Stacy recommended, what a bargain. It is so great and full of storage. We are thinking of giving AK her own room for Christmas and moving SJ in with Caroline.

I LOVE IKEA. what more can I say? It helps that I am a modern style kind of girl. And the things I can dream up to do with all the cheap stuff. scary.

One warning about the play area and potty training. We were excited about Ellie finally being potty trained and being about to go in to play. (I mean, a whole hour ALONE to shop????) What we didn't calculate was the self-flush potty in there that sent Ellie into hysterics. We got a call over the loud speaker to come to the play area. Ellie had her pants around her ankles and was just sobbing but the people were not allowed to help her pull her pants up for legal reasons. I was so mad/sad/embarrassed. They were looking at us like "sure she's potty trained..." The next several times we took her there (after a bathroom break) they wouldn't let her in because they said she was too short. Hmmmm....

That bed is the greatest! I am making a duvet cover this week for Ellie's. The only down side is reminding Ellie's friends that come over that you can't stand the the drawers. They are so big they make just beg to be made into boats, cars, hide n seek spots, etc.

Sorry for the epistle. Mark's mom arrives today and I am avoiding all the cleaning I still have to do. Does Jill hire out as a motivational cleaning instructor?

I LOVE IKEA. Good style + good prices = what's not to love? We went to one in California and bought all the furniture for the boys' room when we moved them in together. I can't wait for the UT store to open!

(I think giving AK her own room for her birthday sounds like about the most exciting gift an oldest child could get!)

I got to go to IKEA in San Francisco last weekend, and I have to admit, it made me very, very excited for the one in Utah to open. With IKEA here I will be able to satisfy my desire for new dishes and table decorations very cheaply! It's going to be dangerous!

On my list of Top 10 things I love about IKEA are the glass food storage containers. I've never used them. I just really like the idea of them!

Those are the only two stores Craig likes, too. It must be a guy thing. We are ikea junkies.

I love IKEA and am so excited that ours is supposed to open next year some time. I've always had to just visit their stores whenever I'm in another state visiting, but that means I can never buy anything big (like furniture) because we can't take it home with us. I'm dying to get new bunkbeds for the kids and to redo their room. You're a lucky girl!

I love IKEA! We have one a few hours away so I don't get there often. One year when I was 8 1/2 months pregnant I was on a mission to get though the whole place. I didn't care about swollen feet, I wanted to shop! I was making the other people tired. I should plan another trip soon!

I just bought this little froggy for Griffin's nursery. Unfortunately I do not have an IKEA in my state and the nearest one is 3 hours away in Pittsburgh. I have a pal in AZ that went shopping for me and is mailing a package of goodies to us. I can't believe they don't really push their mail order and pretty much the online experience is just a "have a look". Love the store!

Ikea is a wonderful place! I look forward to moving back to Northern Virginia and having one nearby again!
I love that they send out their catalog to me anyway and I can drool over everything!
