Christmas Eve tradition
I don't know how this started but every Christmas eve morning we go out to breakfast at McDonald's. It is not like us to go to McDonald's for breakfast so I don't even know why we started doing this, but what kid does not like pancakes at McDonald's.
Since Christmas Eve is on Sunday we decided to do it on Saturday. We always take a photo on a napkin writing how many more hours until we open gifts. It usually says 23 hours.
It was a fun morning and the fact that they had The Littlest Pets in the happy meals oh my, bonus points for sure.
The girls rocked out to Radio Disney Christmas music on the way home, with all the windows down, the weather here has been amazing!
Sally Jane with the wind in her hair! I loved this photo. I can't believe it is the end of December!

First! Hooray!
That shot of AK is priceless. Another smashing tradition.
Have I told you lately how much I love your blog?
I can't believe the weather is warm enough for driving with the window's down! That's crazy. It's weenie-shrinking weather here for sure.
I like your tradition of going to McDonald's for breakfast on Christmas Eve.
Oh Kristi! Our tradition is to go to dinner at McD's on Christmas Eve. My grandmother, my children's great grandmother, gives all her "greats" $5 in gift certificates to McDonald's so we started using them on Christmas Eve so I wouldn't have to make and clean up after a big dinner. Wasn't it weird this year to go on Saturday instead of Christmas Eve? We did all of our normal Christmas Eve stuff on Saturday, and so Sunday was sort of just like a waiting day for the real thing to happen! I love all the stuff you do. I even told my husband that we MUST go to DC to see all this stuff before my next son goes on his mission next year. I hope it works out for us! Merry Christmas!!
Hasn't the weather around these parts been crazy?! I don't think I've pulled out my coat in a few weeks, although I probably could have used it today...it's finally getting a bit chilly!
