Sounds like a big day and how awesome for a quiet night. I love that after a full day of activities.

Love the snow man and the cute scarf.

Only your snowman could look so cute! Sounds like fun, we were dosed with snow last week and Riley had the whole week off school. Happy to be dry again, but I know how fun that first snow is through the eyes of a child.

what a great day! I looked all over for a pom-pom scarf for my niece after you posted about them, but never found one. Your snowgirl is styling!

Isn't it fun to live in a place where "Snowfall" is something that is exciting!!!

Wow, I really love that hat that the snowman is wearing! Did someone make that for you or what? Perfect for a snowman!

What a fab day/night you had! Yay for snow days. One of the family traditions that I shared with the "tradition girls" back in Novemeber was that we have a "First Snow" party and open a special box of treats. We FINALLY had our party this weekend. I thought my girls would burst waiting for the snow. Luckily we had enough snow to make snow angels (our requirement to open the first snow goodie surprise box)! Glad your girls loved their day off. PS-How was Night at the Museum?

Sounds like a terrific day. I love the photos of Annie Kate. She's been looking so grown up in her pictures lately and these definitely captured the little girl in her. Thanks for sharing!

Fun snow. I took my kids to that over Christmas break. We all really liked it. Score on Target! I have purposely stayed away from there...just too tempting.

Our first snow day, too!!! But we didn't have enough for a decent snowman and barely had enough for sledding, but we'll take it!

Sounds like a mighty happy day!

The first snow is always the best! What a fun day!

I just wanted to comment about your new family calling, that is so great! I hope it turns out to be a wonderful thing for your family even if it is a bit of a sacrifice!

Sounds like a great day!! Great way of remembering your favorite things. I love Sally Jane's prayers. They are so sweet when they first start praying. And way to go AK on the snowman. Soo cute!!

Gotta love the snow when you aren't expecting it. Love a snow day - (although three in a row isn't that grand.) LOVE the snowman and love it when prayers are said alone! Even if it includes a pillow! So cute!

I am so happy to finally see it snow! I love your snowman, so cute! My roommates made one which used up all of the snow on the ground and stands about 7 feet tall. It's awesome! Did you love Night at the Museum? I really enjoyed it. Potbelly's is my all time favorite sandwich shop in these parts. Mmmm...my mouth is watering just thinking about it!
