Moms and Muffins

Today was Moms and Muffins at the elementary school. You go to the school early to have muffins and Krispy Kreme's with your student.
It was nothing short of a miracle that we were able to leave for school all dressed by 8:10 am.It was total craziness and I usually avoid advents like this with my two little ones behind. Thanks to my friend and neighbor who helped Caroline with her 4 donut choice, it was do-able.

I got to walk Annie Kate to class and see the class caterpillars who are all in their crystalis waiting to come out for summer.

This morning would not have been as enjoyable without good friends who seem to help me with my two little ones.
If you ever see a mom looking she is going a little crazy don't hesitate to help out, hold the door open, distract her kids or even tell her she is doing a good job. On all my errands today and check out lines, I had numerous people wish me a Happy Mother's Day. Either everyone around here is really nice or they thought I looked a little stressed out.
This weekend try wishing a stranger Happy Mother's Day, it's fun!

It's so wonderful that people were so helpful and nice to you, I always hold the door open for women with strollers, toddlers or whatever (and for anyone else close-by really) because I know what's like to be frazzled and have it be an effort just to get everybody inside the building!

I'm glad you had a good time, that butterfly house thing is awesome.

Glad you were able to enjoy Muffins for Moms today. I applaud you loudly for getting out with 2 smaller people in tow! It's wonderful that others were kind and helpful during M&M and your errands. Happy Mother's Day!!

It is an adjustment to be able to go out without needing to find a babysitter for littles, I'll tell you that. I had my youngest daughter's mothers day tea at school today, and all I had to do was show up! These school things mean so much to the kids, and I love to go.

I love these pictures, esp. your little ones in their matching pink and white--too cute! I so agree about helping moms (or dads) with kids. I love it when people help me and I will never go to the airport again without looking for someone who needs help.
