a strawberry day.

Me and the little girls went and got some more strawberries today. Oh yummy. I should be able to get a few more batches of jam. I gave some fresh ones to our neighbors. I had a bunch of these metal containers forever that I picked for $.50 and finally found the perfect item to put in them.

What I would do to get those strawberries that cheap. I have been resorting to the frozen ones at costco for my jam. Those look delicious!

The berries look delicious! I know Milo's grandma has more, I'm sure I'll be picking some time this week!

Love the tin. I bet you neighbors loved them!

I wish that I would have gotten my strawberries from a farmers market. I settled for costco. Those pictures are amazing and make them look scrumptious!! Happy Jam making! Yummy!

i plan to make freezer jam (since i know what it is now!!) after our "field trip to the farm" sometime this month. I am determined to do at least one field trip a week with the girls but hope to do more...

love the tins and the pic!

Those berries look so good! The hard freeze we had in April killed most of the berry crops around here, so you are one lucky girl! I could eat a whole bowl of those. Yum-o

We have been enjoying the yummy Maui strawberries from the farmers market. I miss the big fields in California where you could get them by the crate full.

So much fun - They look so good. I've never canned before, at least by myself - good job for you getting your canning done on your own. I'll do it myself-someday!

keep in mind i am not really canning but freezer jamming in. to me it is a big deal, but i don't want to offend the canning purist out there.

Those look so yummy! I love that you make homemade Jam. I wish I had the energy, or motivation, or something to do that. I always want to, but it just never happens. Your pictures are just so beautiful. JEALOUS!

That is a really cute idea with the berries in the tin.

I haven't been able to get to making some jam of my own. I am hoping in the next week or so.

Cute pictures of the girls.
